    Just been chatting with a 'top' DJ' and we were discussing playing originals and the conversation came around to ' my styrene copy is getting a bit worn' should/can I play a reissue if I have the original with me and put it up for validation? Records discussed were Del Larks, Joe Matthews, Tamala Lewis ( think this is vinyl but can't get to mine at the moment to check) etc. Thoughts please. Some of these are getting expensive!

    I played the B side a few months ago as a request at the Spitfire Club. A couple of people came up to enquire what it was. As you say, pure quality.

    I used to do emidiscs to order back in the early 70s. Bought my machine from Jeff King of Soul Sounds infamacy. The buyers were fully aware of what they were buying. Sold the machine a few years later to Paul Rowan who is still around . Happy days

    Got copies of Bricks, broken bottles, Skip Jackson, Dear Beloved, Constellations I don't know about you and many more. Gave them all a spin at Lord Jim's but they weren't the right tempo for the time. Scroll forward 10/15 years, guess what, perfect!!! Maybe I was a trailblazer but did't know it? They let me have them on sale or return as no record player was available. Got an Earl Jackson for 25p as well. Happy days.
