  1. Not sure I could have danced to this even in the drug fuelled days!

  7. Hi Guys Thanks for all the information - very knowledgeable as expected. It's been posted earlier that the deadwax readings are the same for both. My L.Allen copy reads on the 'Somewhere' side G&C -115 -A PARADISE can someone please confirm same on Larry Allen? TIA Julian
  8. Just received the 45 purchased. Not an expensive record but bloody hell they charged £12 for p & p. Ok the registered bit is £7.80 ( I think) but it was in the cheapest box with no stiffeners. Considering they made approx 50% in selling and buyers commission you'd have thought they could have done at cost. Moan over
  9. A seller in the US has been drip feeding Little Tommy - Baby can't you see over the last 4 or 5 years. He has one on ebay at the moment, so maybe these 'finds' are still out there?
  10. Anyone know if the deadwax markings are the same for both releases?
  11. Do they both play the same tune? Sorry for being stupid!
  12. Hi guys, I've been reading conflicting reports about which is the rarest copy of Can't we talk it over. I'm sure all you knowledgeable people out there will put me straight! TIA
  13. Hi Thanks for the reply. Sorry should have said he's after US originals of both ( I've now edited my post) As I said, not for me but a pal so cannot respond regarding trades.
  14. Please keep us all informed when the next batch is released. Managed to snag one 45.
  15. I've not sold through John recently, but I think he charges 20% now. I could be wrong though. I'm sure someone on here ( or John himself) can put us right on this.
  16. They charge in the region of 20% + VAT for the pleasure of selling it for you, so seller gets around £11400 of the £15000 sale price
  17. Thought Manship sold for about £13500? I stand to be corrected😄
  18. 19. Thank goodness for no KK. Enjoyed the night socially and musically with Johnny and Jacqui mutton who travelled down from Barrow in furness. Asked to spin a few tunes in June. I suggested I play a UK issued vinyl spot which seemed to be well received, so no imports on the night! See you all soon Julian
  20. Thank God I didn't know that!!!!
  21. What's KK?
  22. The scene was going from the early 60s, but not called 'northern soul ' until 1971 when Dave Godin called it this after his trip to the Wheel in December 1970. I know, I was there 👍
  23. Many thanks Blackpoolsoul
