    I remember (well partly) going to one 'do' there. Before it started I spent a few hours in the Dragonara Hotel with Chris Burton, Keith Minshull and the group - trouble is, I can't remember who they were. Think they were an all girl group. Can anyone fill in the gaps in my memory?

    Is the way forward to get the seller to send to a pal based in the US and them to send on as a 'gift'? Not sure if ebay would tie up the connection between the buyers home country and the actual posting address.

    Arriving at the Blue Orchid in Derby with Les Cokell (RIP) and some guys from Huddersfield and Keighley ( sorry, can't remember their names) to find it closed. Unfortunately we had all taken our 'additives' about 15 minutes earlier!!! Travelling to the Wheel with Dave Godin after which he wrote about 'Northern Soul' in Blues and Soul.

    Do you think this VAT charge only affects 'major' dealers and not those offering a few for sale? Just bought one from New York with no extra fees.

    Works both ways. I sent one to Italy on 16th December. Last heard of in Dublin! Why do the Post Office send their stuff to a sorting office in Ireland - surely Italy is closer to England? Obviously this was before Brexit.

    A few more for discussion. I got all these in a job lot approx 20 years ago. Interestingly there was some paperwork from Keith Prose (the impresario) enclosed with them. I think the Jamo Thomas acetate is genuine.

    Hi, these are normal 45 pressings with deadwax numbers.

    As promised I attach the photos. All the records have the correct deadwax stampings. I hear what you say about maybe labels being stuck on but my question would be 'why bother with cheap 45s?' surely if you're going to 'fake' something, you would do high value stuff? Just my thoughts.

    Found 37 without 'disc' on them. I'll post up tomorrow + 20 Decca Group Test Pressings including a Jamo Thomas Acetate.
