Really not sure where to start about Saturdays event LDSM at The Goods In. It’s been a long journey with a few bumps in the road but it seems we may have just found our spiritual home We took a leap of faith picking a bigger venue but so many people braved the terrible weather and packed out the place by 6pm It was so good to see a lot of familiar faces and also lots of new ones. First mention goes to the staff for organising the space and working tirelessly all night with a smile on their faces Also for the owners for allowing us to use their amazing venue and buying into our vision. Obviously we have nothing without your amazing support and hope this continues to build The guest DJs all brought their own style and personality through their music and created an amazing atmosphere. We really want to create an event that covers every genre of soul music and also really champion new releases. We know look forward to planning our next party in June when hopefully the weather will be kinder allowing us to use the outdoor area The four guest DJs will be announced later this week so watch this space!! Lluis is a man familiar to many as an avid record collector and a superb Djbut more importantly one of life’s good guys who I’m proud to call a friend Lluis came to Chester when he was 18 yrs old so he is looking forward to returning now.
