  1. I really like this I want one!
  2. Happy soul - dave cortez and the moon people - speed 15967 refosoul Woops, my mistake. Here is the Dave Cortez version called "Happy soul (with a hook)" which I believe is the one Christine Agruelria used for samples.
  3. Hippy, skippy, moon strut - moon people - roulette 15958 refosoul Here you go
  4. We got love - charles allen
  5. Not exactly the same, Dave Cortez has hammond, Moon People has some "singing", I'll upload it later. I played it for my students Mossy, got some attention as well but I don't think they understand what I was talking about
  6. It's been a £150 for some years and it's worth every penny
  7. What do you mean, is it rare to find on an issue copy or is the version rarer?
  8. You could always take a trip to Oslo the 24th
  9. It looks exactly as the other 2nd issues. I got mine from Elija some time ago, don't know how to see which one he's selling...
  10. Gold of my life - piano and violin version - mixed emotions - rock-way 15636 refosoul Here is the version with piano and violin. The violin sounds a bit like Dexys midnight runners IMO
  11. Can I change my mind - joe johnson - 15517 refosoul Lovely 70s version
  12. £100 worth every penny IMO Thanks Chalky
  13. Thanks for correcting my English. Yes, it's stunning! It took me two years to get it so I'll think I'll keep it.
  14. Waiting for this record to arrive in the mail, but I would love to listen (download) to it now. Is there anyone who could help me with an MP3 file of this?
  15. No I’m really confused here. Until John said that there where “old” originals with the credit name, we where all sure that the one with credit name was a legit second press made by owner, but now… Than there’s the unreleased tracks, the other take of “Gold of my life” with strings that Dave is talking about, great version BTW! And then there is “Am I imposing”, great x-over!, both “newly” released on Rock-way.
  16. Awesome tune, love it! I played it once or twice at OSE a couple of years ago, but every time I'm listening to it now I'm thinking, why don't I play it more often? Gonna do it next Saturday
  17. Great record! Might be wrong here, but did she do a version of "All work and no play"?
  18. I'm ready to paypal anyone who got a copy for me of Lee "Shot" Williams "Our thing is trough" on Shama PM or email me: tommy.soul@gmail.com
  19. I would love to see, and maybe hear the difference between them? I bought mine some years ago from a seller whom I know and believe when he told me it's the original. But I fell it's a bit strange that just before the song start, you can hear a "click" sound as if someone starts a cassette player or something . Anyone else heard that...?
  20. Remember hearing this for the first time on deepfunk radio show, I almost fell of my chair, what an opening, what a track; I just knew I had to have it. (By the way, who was the guest playing it Ian, can't remember?) Being a mod in the early 80s with "move on up" as one of my favourite tunes, it was refreshing to hear "We're gonna make it". It's not often you'll get a new "discovery" from one of your favourite artists...
  21. That's what I thought, fanbloodytastic track
  22. Does anyboby knows if "Trying To Prove My Love" was released as a 7" from this album?
  23. Their gone with the owner. Christian left OSE a year ago.
  24. You're mostly welcome.
  25. We're doing fine mate! All our regular soul nights has been well attended with a lot of people. Starting a new year the 20th. of January. Also looking forward to play at the opening of a new soul club in Malm¸; Club Function next Saturday. Still hoping to take a trip down (south) to Berlin.
