  1. Hi Mick, great tread! I'm not good with "big" records so I'll deffo gonna follow this tread for good tips. One of my favourite tunes (that I had to have!) on only LP is Eliminators "Loving explosion"
  2. Dave, thanks a lot for sharing the story, and Steve, great to hear from one of the members behind this fantastic soul record! This (Man of my word) has been one of my favourite tunes since I got an mp3 some years ago. And hearing Butch play it «live» at Oslo Soul Experiences 6 years anniversary this year, made it even better.
  3. Too easy Ian, give a me challenge Loades on ebay; https://cgi.ebay.com/JAMES-WARREN-KORGIS-THAT-WAS-MY-BIG-MISTAKE-7_W0QQitemZ330022690231QQcmdZViewItemQQptZMusic_on_Vinyl?hash=item4cd6e29db7
  4. Is it worth buying?
  5. Great Sebastian, thanks for sharing!
  6. Remember there was a "live" sound file of this on good old soul club. Must have been a "biggie" somewhere in UK cos it sounded so great with all the people singing along. Didn't say where it was recorded....

    Dramatics

Allways mix this up with Limitations "All because of you" on Volt. Maybe it's cos they both where on Volt, or is Dramatics on Sport a different band?
  8. Thanks mate
  9. Sorry for this, trying har to find out how to embed a youtube video
  10. This is from our 2 years anniversary (we're 6 years now ) and this is how we do it in Norway (Oslo) I know this will not fit the "therm" northern soul, but for us, soul will be R&B, northern, modern and some funk, and we (and all our members) like it this way. Maybe it's cos we don't know any other way and we don't have the "history" that UK have when it comes to soul music.
  11. I would go for the US demo cos that's a vinyl copy , most (or all?) issues are styrene.
  12. You're so slow Cunnie, this is an oldie by now
  13. Does anyone have sound clip(s) from the other issues that sounds different to the Jerhart?
  14. He said he will contact you
  15. There is a guy on this board who might have one for sale, I'll send him a mail and ask for you.
  16. Willie West & The High Society Brothers "The Devil Gives Me everythin except what i need" A new masterpiece from Finland. Sound here:
  17. GREAT tune!

    Jazz

If it's "Suddenly" I would say around £100
  20. Whatdaf**, who is behind this bootleg? Selling bootlegs is the same as suporting it
  21. Holy fu** At least It shows that northern soul must have been "big" in the UK at early/mid 70s -
  22. Who where this band? This might be the worst I've ever heard https://cgi.ebay.com/WIGANS-OVATION-45-UK-70s-instro-MOOG-PSYCH-FUNK-Listen_W0QQitemZ220458762780QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Records?hash=item33545dc21c&_trksid=p3911.c0.m14
  23. Makes you think that there must be records today going for "nothing" that we can regret not buying in 2030
  24. No, I was thinking of the price
