Does anyone know where the label Lakeside who recorded Sounds of black is from? I thought it was Chicago IL, but I also have Maurice Jackson on Lakeside records, but that says New York, NY. Anyone?
I know they (and others) did business this way, but I was under the impression that it was a Chicago label for a while. Anyhow, this was really helpful, thanks a lot, love this forum!
You've right both of you, I guess they never moved physically, but the address and the distribution changes from Cinncinati to Chicago at some time. It's this year that I'm looking for.
