The Juke Joint happens bimonthly in the legendary basement of the Jacaranda Club in the heart of Liverpool. Expect to hear gritty R'n'B, 60s Soul, Mod and early Jamaican sounds. This is the only free ORIGINAL VINYL ONLY event in the area. The Juke Joint is in it's 9th year. Resident DJs are Phil Laing, David Melling and David "Cally' Callister. We have a guest DJ at each gig. We attract a cool and friendly crowd, with good vibes and a great atmosphere guaranteed.

FREE ENTRY!. You can enjoy the music in the basement were the DJs play. The music is piped up to the first floor too so you can continue to enjoy the vibe at the bar, in the seating area or even in the outside seating area if you fancy some fresh air. Expect to hear the finest 60s Soul, gritty R'n'B, Mod and early Jamaican sounds all on original vinyl only. We have a friendly regular crowd with good vibes and a party atmosphere guaranteed. Alongside resident DJs Phil Laing, David 'Cally' Callister and David Melling we have special guest DJ Paul Shirley.

The Juke Joint happens in the legendary Liverpool club The Jacaranda. The event takes place in an original basement where around 1960 four young fellas from Liverpool rehearsed before going to Hamburg. You probably know what happened from there on. We play the records in the basement and the music is piped up to the first floor where this a well stocked bar and an outside area where you can sit in the sun when it actually appears. Expect to hear smooth 60 Soul, gritty R'n'B, Mod and early Jamaican sounds all on original vintage vinyl. We have a very special guest DJ Lorna 'Queen of R'n'B' Beattie. Lorna is guaranteed to set the dance floor on fire. I'll be playing some records alongside resident DJs Dave "Cally' Callister and David Melling. We have a friendly crowd of regulars who know how to party and you will be given a very warm welcome if you're a regular or a newcomer. It's a FREE event.

Expect raunchy R'n'B, 60s Soul, Mod and early Jamaican sounds all on original vinyl. It's a FREE event from 15.00- 21.00. The Jacaranda has 3 floors, the top floor is a record shop and cafe, there is a ground floor with a bar and the basement where we spin the records. Our music is connected to the ground floor as well as the basement to ensure your listening pleasure. The Juke Joint attracts a fun and friendly crowd and there is a party like atmosphere. Resident DJs are Phil Laing, David Melling and David 'Cally' Callister. We have a special guest DJ at every event and on this occasion we are privileged to have Pete Griffin who is an all round top guy with a superb record collection.

We have special guest DJ Des Parker joining us. The main event is in the basement. We have Lorna Beattie as our very special guest DJ alongside resident DJs Phil Laing, David Melling and David 'Cally' Callister. It's a free event and we are in to our 7th year. Always an electric atmosphere with a very friendly crowd. The Jacaranda is in the heart of Liverpool city centre with great access to rail stations and the major routes in to the city. It's FREE ENTRY! 3PM START FINISHES AT 9PM
