Many thanks from the team of four promoters and the girls on the door to all those who attended another packed afternoon and evening down in the basement. We would especially like thank those who travelled from far and wide, in particular from South Wales, Glasgow and even Dublin. We hope you all enjoyed your day and will be back sometime in the future.

Just over 24 hours to go before the doors open for the next Sink session down in the basement. A quick heads-up to those attending tomorrow for the first time. If you want a seat near the dj/dance area you need to be in early doors. However, there will still be seating available in the chill-out area where you will still be able to hear the music.

Didn't know you had the King Coleman Tony. Another top tune.

Just over a week to go until our next session 'in the basement' of Heebies. If you haven't been before the venue is a bit old skool, 4 rooms all brick arches. Must dig out out Etta James and Sugar Pie Desanto - what a tune.

Just under two weeks to go until the next Sink do in Heebies atmospheric basement. We understand a few are making a weekend of it as it's Easter. If you haven't been before there's loads to see and do in this great city.

We have had some inquiries regarding parking, as always with city centres it can be a bit of a moveable feast, but here goes. There is limited on street parking in Seel Street and the surrounding area which is free after six. There used to be several open-air parking sites available but generally these have disappeared as construction work has begun throughout the city. If you drive down Seel Street past Heebies there is an open one on the left, but it fills up pretty quick. At the rear of Heebies is Back Seel Street where you will find a small two storey indoor car park. There is another indoor car park as you leave Back Seel Street, but I believe it can be expensive. Also, there is a multi-storey at the bottom of Seel Street, but I believe that can be expensive as well. Hope this helps – see you tomorrow.

Just a week to go before the next Sink Club session in Liverpool. There are still a few enamel badges available for those who didn't make the December do. Don't forget, if you want a seat in the dance/dj area, you need to arrive early. See you Sunday.

Looking forward to Saturday. Always a good night. So very long since our last visit - mad bloody scientists.

Another top NYE at Kingsway. Dance floor still busy at 1.00 a.m. Many thanks to Carl and Barry for letting me loose behind the decks and to all who attended and made it a great night. 30 years in January says it all.
-
Thanks to Carl for asking me to spin a few tunes at Kingsway on NYE. It's always a top night at Forest Town, full of people who just want to dance. Can't wait.
-
Hi Kev, thanks for the mention. Just glad that you enjoy yourself enough to continue making the long treck from the North East. See you at Carl's

Not long now until the big day. No not the 25th, the next Sink session. To all our regulars unable to make it this Sunday we would like to wish you a Merry Christmas and hope to see you all in the New Year. The date of the first Sink of 2022 is February the 20th. Keep safe everyone.
-
Alan & Mandy - looking forward to seeing you both again - glad you enjoyed your first visit. Managed to get my new badge at the weekend. They are brilliant, great job by Tony & Lisa. Suggest getting there early on the 19th if you after one as apparently they are already going like hot cakes.
-
Looking forward to Sunday as I will be giving a couple of new purchases a spin. Please don't ask what they are, you need to come along on at the weekend to hear them.
-
Following our busy first event after the lock down back in August we are really looking forward to a week on Sunday (the 17th) for our next do. There is plenty of parking locally either on street or in various multi-storey car parks and also lots of hotels nearby for those wishing to stay over.
-
Hi Carl, Hope you & Val have recovered from the trip to the Lakes. Looking forward to playing a few tunes for what is a great crowd at Kingsway and seeing lots of friends after the god awful lockdown.
-
Looking forward to Sunday, have been waiting over twelve months for this the first Cherry Pit. Have to say I think the flyer is great, looks like the picture was taken at The Scene Club, Ham Yard around '64. I'm sure someone will tell us if not.
-
Just 3 days before the first sink of 2021. People from all over the country appear to be attending so we would advise all to arrive early. Don't forget all you crate diggers; Ian will be in attendance with his numerous sales boxes full of reasonably priced tunes. See you there, 3.00pm Sunday.
-
Hi Alan, will be good to see you both
-
We can't believe it will be 18 months since our last event when we welcome all our friends back to the Sink on the 15th. So looking forward to seeing you all again and of course spinning a few tunes aswell.
-
If your off to the Swinton Allnighter why not use the RMI as a warm up before you move on. If you've not been before we think you'll be suprised how good the venue is. The music's pretty good aswell.
-
Looking forward to the first RMI of the year with top DJ Les Harrison as the guest. Should be another great night.
-
Looking forward to our visit to Kingsway this weekend, always a top night full of soulies who just want to dance. The added bonus is Carl has asked me to spin a few tunes aswell, dead chuffed. 23 years is amazing and a credit to Carl and Val for keeping it going. See you there.
