  3. Not long now for the next Sink session. Just found out another crowd of Sink first timers are coming along Sunday. Looks like it's gonna be busy.
  4. Just 10 days to go before the next Sink session. Quite a few have booked into hotels for a pre-Christmas weekend in Liverpool so it looks like another busy afternoon/evening in the basement of Heebie Jeebies.
  5. Last one was brilliant, really looking forward to another top day. See you Saturday.
  6. Just under 3 weeks to go before our next Sink session in the basement at Heebie Jeebies. Word on the street is that it will be another busy afternoon/evening. Don't forget dress to impress.
  7. Only just over a week to go before the Sink Club opens it's doors again for an afternoon/evening of top sounds from the 50s and 60s. Anyone wishing to find out more about the history of the Sink should checkout our Facebook page and watch the short film called "In The Basement". Neil English the proprietor of the street level cafe at 45 Hardman Street opened up the basement. This was in 1963 which means we are celebrating a 60 year anniversary. Hope to see you all on the 15th.
  8. Thanks to Kev for asking me back to Shildon to play a few tunes. Always a good night with a great crowd. I hear there are a couple of new "faces" coming along, so don't forget "dress to impress".
  9. Thanks to Clive for inviting me along to play a few tunes. Looking forward to it.
  10. Sorry to hear that - bummer
  11. Thanks to all who attended yesterday's Sink Club session. To the first timers, we hope you enjoyed yourselves and if you did, we look forward to seeing you again in the not-too-distant future for another top afternoon/evening. Our next event down in the basement will be on Sunday 15th October.
  12. Tunes sorted. Looking forward to tomorrow, think it's gonna be busy.
  13. Looking forward to this, my first time behind the decks at North Wings. Thanks to Gigs and Carl for their kind words. See you there tomorrow night.
  14. It's only 11 days to go before the next Sink Club session in Liverpool. Word has it that there will be a lot of new Faces attending and with that in mind we thought we should post some relevant information. Doors open at 3.00p.m. and we finish at 9.00p.m. Entry is £5 pay on the door (advance tickets are not available) Seating is available throughout the club but cannot be reserved in advance. For those wishing to stay over for a night or two we advise, if travelling by car, to find accommodation with on-site parking. The walk from Lime Street station is approximately 10 mins. Hope to see you all on the 20th.
  15. Just over 2 weeks before the next Sink. Can't wait. Don't forget, if you miss this one you'll have to wait 8 weeks for the next one on October the 15th.
  16. Only 2 days to go before the next episode of the Sink. Some of our loyal attendees are already in Liverpool for the weekend. Why not join us and celebrate Father's Day down in the basement.
  17. Just under two weeks before the next Sink Session. Had some great feedback over the weekend, looks like it's going to be busy.
  18. Just been given a couple of new tunes for my birthday, don't ask it's just a number. Anyway, can't wait to give them both an outing on the 18th. Only just over two weeks to go.
  19. Looking forward to spinning a few tunes again at the Northern Line. As well as Gigs I believe Carl Piper will be attending along with Val and possibly Dave and Rosa Bacon. Should be a good night as usual.
  20. Having DJ'd last Saturday at the Hydro Mod Night in Shildon near Newton Aycliffe last Saturday, I was pleased to discover a number of the attendees have already booked their accommodation for the 18th. Many thanks to you all for your support. The Sink Crew.
  21. Only a couple of days until the next Sink session. Will be giving an outing to a couple of recent purchases, fingers crossed they go down well. See you all Sunday.
  22. Happy Easter to all our Sink friends. See you all in 7 days for the next session in the basement @ Heebies.
  23. Thanks to all that attended yesterday's Sink session with especial thanks to those who travelled from far and wide. Fantastic atmosphere from the get-go with quite a few arriving before 3. Special mention to Kev Richardson who had the floor packed during both his spots. Hope to see you again on the 16th April for another instalment down in the basement of Heebie Jeebies.
  24. Many thanks to Kev Richardson for agreeing to stand in for Dennis while he is away in Germany. Kevin has run a successful soul night in Newton Aycliff for many years and has more recently started a bi-monthly 60's night in Shildon. He and Ann are regular Sink attendees, and we are seeing an increasing number of people visiting from the North East due in no small part to Kev's enthusiasm for the Sink.
  25. Only 2 weeks to go until the first Sink of 2023 down in the basement of Heebies. For those who are not aware it's 60 years since the first Sink session was held at 45 Hardman Street. Anyone interested to know what it was like to attend the Sink during the 60's should speak to Stan and or Dennis, both of whom were members and regular attendees back in the day.
