Apart from missing the obvious niters, weekender's etc. Now I've been off work for 13 weeks I am really really really missing the normal things in life like going away for the weekend at our caravan it's between mablethorpe and cleethorpes and just walking around the shops and getting some seaside fish and chips and sitting watching the sea.. hopefully we will be able to go soon so will give the leaking boot a try, ( it better be good lol) cause normally I don't like boots and prefer originals. Ps really miss the Winter Gardens was great in the early 80's with all the modern

I was just browsing evil bay and came across "im with you all of the way" on little star as a reissue was really surprised as I've never considered that this is rare or expensive or am I missing something??

As I was only 15 when I first went to my first niter in 1980 at least I can put my real age on now or should I go the other way and take a few years off.. Seriously though it sounds like a good idea

I prefer my fish and chips from Ernie Beckets and sit over looking the pier while I eat them . This is the picture I took the Last time I was sat there eating them.

Yes the night is to enjoy yourself!! and for me it is the combination of the music and what label it is on . This is the only music that I have loved since I was 12. And as a collector as well it is important to me to get the original if I can afford it. I'm not saying anyone else has to agree with me we all like different things. I wouldn't like to go for a nice meal and ask for a decent single grape shiraz and be served a house red . Since my 2 strokes I have forgotten so much about the music that it is like a new learning curve for me again but that's the way life is. Hope this helps Regards Mick

My thoughts are the same. Due to health problems until I either know that the virus has gone away or I have had a vaccine I can't see me going to a niter for a long long time. Hopefully things will return to normal and I will be able to go to a niter again. The thought of knowing that I have already been to my last one is too much to contemplate

Off the top of my head i can't think of the labels but I bet if we were stood outside a niter chatting away we would. And at a niter it matters what its played on otherwise someone can buy 100 bootlegs and play things that someone else has took years to collect and it's that passion that matters
