  • A brief intro...
Volunteer DJ at KGLT in Bozeman, Montana. You can catch my show every other Tuesday morning 9:00 am - Noon (Mountain Time). My DJ name is 'The Mad Manc'. . This is a community radio station staffed by volunteers connected to Montana State University. It is a gem compared to commercial radio. We pick our own music and in the case of a vagabond from the north west of England take in our own music to play. My show is mixture of Northern Soul, Soul, Funk, and 80's remixes. But that can change from show to show. Needless to say it is almost impossible to find this kind of music in the Wild and Woolly West so any recommendation that you may have would be much appreciated. Keep the Faith.

  1. Hi from Montana. I just found your playlist and I am really enjoying it. I volunteer DJ at kglt.net on every other Tuesday morning's (Mountain Time 9:00 am) - DJ name 'The Mad Manc'. I started playing Northern Soul, yes I went to the Twisted Wheel (once) but soul is not something easy to find in the mountain west. Keep up the good work. John
  2. I am training as an apprentice DJ on KGLT in Bozman, Montana. If anyone is interested in listening I have a half hour segment sometime between 10am and 11am (Mountain Standard Time) Friday 22nd - kglt.net. Any suggestions would be welcome. As the station has only one NS related CD can anyone help/suggest where I can lay my hands on compilation CDs, Amazon has been my only source up to now. I did find a couple of Okeh vinyl albums in the stacks but without much experience on the board I am not sure playing vinyl is a winning proposition at the moment.
