Anyone know anything about this bloke? My mate just bought a Joey Hetherton off him but it never arrived. Looking at his feedback it looks like he sold the same record to someone else as well and they didn't get it either. His ebay username is chuck260563 The bloke wanted cash or bank transfer but my mate persuaded him to accept paypal but to his wife's account, is there anything he can do to get his money back? Bought NO PART TIME LOVE & PEACE LOVING MAN at Burslem record fair in the early 80's on a mate's recomendation for £2 each. Got LOVE IS THE ONLY SOLUTION & DON'T LEAD ME ON soon after for the same price. Best £8 I ever spent, just wish I'd kept them.

Don't even think about using T-cut on an expensive record, I should think the best you can hope for is that it looks in better nick than it is, I don't think it will get rid of the noise. You could try getting it skimmed, I'm sure someone on here knows where to get it done.

I've just checked a reggae LP i T-cutted, what was a deep scratch is now only faint and all the light scratches around it have gone. The area I did is slightly duller than the rest of the surface. Oh, and its totally unplayable, but it was before anyway. If you T-cut all the playing surface you can probably make a record look better but as for it sounding any better, I doubt it.

I can confirm that T-cut will remove light scratches, it will also remove deep ones as but will remove the grooves as well. I'd only try it on a record that's unplayable and there's nothing to lose.

I've been looking on the net for some info on Ray Whitley who wrote & originally recorded I'VE BEEN HURT & HEY GIRL DON'T BOTHER ME. The only Ray Whitley I can find is a sort of Roy Rogers type singing cowboy. Please tell me it's not the same bloke. Cheers Crumb

They can't chase him off, he's not an ebay member. This means that you shouldn't click on the respond now button in questions from ebay members unless you know they are genuine members. If in doubt, as glosters best said check if the message is on your ebay page as well. I suppose I should have sent it to ebay but I deleted it as soon as I realised it was dodgy. Cheers

Just had a message, supposedly via ebay from a member, pacific-real-estate saying "have you deceided yet". As I couldn't remember buying anything off this seller I clicked on the yellow reply button to ask him what it was all about but it asked me for my password & username, as I was already signed in to ebay I thought this a bit odd and did a search for this member & guess what? There's no one registered in that name nor did the message show in my messages, only outlook express. If I hadn't already been signed in I think I'd have just filled in my password & username as normal.

Delilah - Major Lance arrived last week sandwiched between 2 pieces of cardboard bent into a u shape. Since everything else I've got on Okeh is styrene I was sure it would be in 2 pieces but as I was unwrapping it a perfectly flat record fell out. It was the thinest most flexible vinyl I've ever seen, I suppose that's what saved it
