Just went out to get a loaf & found the postman had left The Metros LP on the doorstep in the rain. Luckily I dont think it can have been there very long as it was only wet on the outside. I bought it mainly for Unlucky Son but the whole LP's great with the possible exception of Blue Velvet.

I'm bidding on one of his records at the moment. I wondered why he used his name in all his listings like we should know who he is or something, never heard of him myself. He's almost apologetic about selling soul records like it's a crime or something. What sort of stuff does he usually sell?

Karl Burns? They've had that many personel over the years that by the law of averages some of them must have been into Northern. Wasn't Marc Riley a fan as well?

Saw Sham 69's Jimmy Pursey in Hanley cop shop once & he claimed he'd been to Wigan, don't think he was very impressed though.

If it was just 1 seller I'd put it down to a problem at their end but it's 4 different ones.

Never had this problem before though & now it's 4 on the trot. I suppose that rules out buying xmas presents with paypal then as by the time the payments cleared the item won't get here in time.

I thought the last 4 items I bought on ebay were taking a while to arrive, I was just checking My Ebay when I noticed that they were marked payment pending. I've never had this problem before, the money has been debited from my bank account straight away, anyone know what's going on? Cheers Crumb

The Five heartbeats. For me this is the best of all the soul films, got everything. make you laugh, make you vry, make you sing, brilliant! Very similar to the Temps film, but better. I thought the Five Heartbeats was the Temps film, what was that called then?
