  1. Well if everyone keeps going like Soul Sam has .. the Northern scene has at least another 20 years , modern/funk oldies scene even more
  2. I think theres quite a few thinking like that .. There is younger people abroad in their 20's and now early 30's into it .. perhaps the 3rd genaration uk mods are northern souls new blood ?

  7. I agree Dave , I was genralzing again sorry !! .. However I did witness a a old friend of mine trying to explain to some USA soul fans why he only liked soul music made before 31/12/1969 , it was quite funny
  8. I agree too , the real Jazz Funk period was very short indeed , .. They still play the same tunes ( 1978-1983) at Caister today !!
