  1. No mention of your Len Rideout 12 plumby ?
  2. Phwoooar Love it ... great horns .. just like the early moden soul scene stuff was I prefer the 12 ..but many will want this 7 ken ...
  3. ken you may find that on selling this on 7 , its will get less interest ... the Boogie boys do love a 12 if possible
  4. Bloody hell , never seen one any scan yet !! , Ive got a 7'' of Randy Brown UK threeway though also a very nice 12 , that shd be played
  5. Yes I see what you mean , I cant fit me 12'' in my 60's box lol
  6. Whats in your hot-box ken ?
  7. Really , yeah I do think this is one that could go ,probably the main reason I metioned it ..
  8. Ive been meaning to unpack my old 12's for quite a while now , ( a request from Paul Phillips ,and just out of interest really) . However I cant think of too many that would fit todays rare soul scene.. the slightest crash of a drum machine has people running today and is probably the reason why tracks like Crystal and Ronnie Barnes do not get played .
  9. Alwite Gavin (I hear Steve G struggled home with his rare stuff last night) .., yeah I'd like to hear this one too
  10. Ah ha , this was when Barnfather was at his best ..
  11. Blimey those boogie blokes are spreading their wings a bit ...Not too boogie styled really .. very nice group sound me thinks I'll find mine soon ..
  12. Got quite a few Buds , but never seen that one
  13. Surely this is rarer than jessie , heres a scan from Paul Phillips site https://www.soulmusiccollector.com/louise_m...you_notice.html
  14. Has anyone seen Richard Searlings 12 '' of Bill Harris on RCA
  15. 1974 , oh yes ..must unpack it .Its a good record too cheers
  16. pmsl .
  17. Yeah I remember a Tom Moulton interview , he was saying he cut a 12'' instead of a 10 and was suprised and delighted by the extra fidelity !! https://www.milliondollardisco.com/moulton.html
  18. Does anyone on here know a 12'' by China Burton , seems to be quite hard
  19. Wasn't Marboo 1975

No I knew Mick to talk to ,early 80's Ivor ..Never saw this bloke again . but what a great bit of advice hey? , he was probably an old northern punter checking out Dick Coombes's gigs , whilst living in london digs for work !!
  22. New Mexico / Let the night move / Decade LP 197? Anyone playing this again ?

Spot on steve . My mate Ray reminded me that Keb still had Nicky Newarkers coverd in 1982/83 , but i cant remember this at all ?! .. Raistrick certainly turned some monsters up very true , who had the first Richard Caitons "Where is the love" off him

Quite an interesting memory jogger this for me . I remember Keb and Dick Coombes playing some modern very early 80's and Ian Clarks wonderful sales box , plus some old bloke (who I never saw ever again) telling me that Soul Bowl had everything and at much cheaper prices , whilst at a Dick Coombes doo . . I wonder what motivated Keb to go 60's only militant and take the NS scene by storm ? ps . Any scans from Timothy Brown yet
  25. Hmmm , not sure on this one yet but very interesting . .. Little Jackie Moore hey , could it be !!
