Thank you Tony for inviting myself to play a few tunes for you all. I've got to apologise for playing the Magnificent 7 for the second time in the night. As we got a bit lost getting there we arrived a tad late so had missed your spot and didn't know you had already played it, Repeating records in one night is one of my top hates on the scene as the people who know me will know. So please forgive me?? Great records played by all dj's, enjoyed all the spots. Quality sounds. Heres what i can remember playing. Louis Paul---The change will do you good---Intro Johnny Moore---Lonely heart in the city---Blue rock Trends---Not to old to cry---ABC Magnificent 7---Never will i make you cry---Dial (AGAIN)!!!! Sorry Kings of Soul---Girl what have you done---Down to earth El Anthony---We've been in love too long---La Cindy Exits---I dont want to hear it---Gemini Dynamics---You make me feel good---RCA Four thoughts---Kisses and roses---Womar Otis Leavill---Gotta right to cry---Lucky Districs---One lover---Nile Bobby Smith---Girl---C/U Bobby blues ray---Soul---Sac-soul city Mystiques---Put out the fire---Twinight Dave Charles---Aint gonna cry no more---Donnie Tommy Turner---Lazy---Elbam Volumes---Aint gonna give you up---Karen Frankie and the damons---Man from soul---JCP Garland Green---Angel baby---UNI C/u--- Just because---C/U Albert jones---I do love you---Tri-city Clay brown---Why you want to change---Florentine Think that was the lot. An honour and pleasure as always Tony to be asked, many thanks. Karl

There is too much me, me, and me on this site!!! And most off it is of childish and pathetic behaviour from people who have too much time on their hands and just want to cause shite!!!!! It's the music that counts and I've loved and lived it for 34 years now. Why cant people keep their soul-destroying opinions to themselves as I for one am sick to the back teeth of hearing them on this site!!!!! Constructive criticism yes. Bullshiting and backstabbing please keep to yourselves. I normally bite my tongue to stop myself posting on here to some of the absolute garbage that some people post, but things are getting well out of hand so decided to put in my two peneth. No one need answer to this, as I don't really give a shite if you do or don't agree and I certainly won't be posting or reading anything else on here again!!!!!!!! I want to enjoy the rest of my life and will do by going out every week and listening to records sung by brilliant, talented black musicians and singers giving their all. With friends who I respect for their love and passion for this music and their company I enjoy being in!!!! That's why I love it so much!!!!!

Well said Baz, in total agreement with you there sir. There is too much me, me, and me on this site!!! And most off it is of childish and pathetic behaviour from people who have too much time on their hands and just want to cause shite!!!!! I was 15 when I first went to Wigan in 78, immature and gullible, but it only took two or so weeks there to reach adulthood. You had to grow up fast in those days to be able to survive. Everyone knew then and knows now who the good ones and the bad ones were/are and who to avoid, unless they were/are lacking a bit of the old grey matter upstairs!! With friends who I respect for their love and passion for this music and their company I enjoy being in!!!! That's why I love it so much!!!!! Be great to see you Baz on Sat, been a while now, be nice to have a chat sir. See you Sat mate.

Hi Chris and Marcelle, SAD NEWS!!!! A big thank you from myself for having the confidence and giving me the opportunity of being one of your resident dj's from day one. It's been a pleasure and an honour working with you both and I hope to see just as much of you as punters in the future. Enjoy a well deserved rest!!!!!!!!!!! Kind regards Karl Rhodes.
