This Month we have invited our old friend “Paul Lightly” to work his magic and keep the Dancefloor busy, with his expertise and knowledge (which is second to none). Doors open at 7.15 with the records playing from the start. Just to point out, this is also a “No Talc” Venue please. So Guys, the countdown has begun to one of the best Soul & Motown nights around and this month we have a super treat for you, with the swift return of our old friend Steve Goody, who will be playing some of your most favourite tunes alongside the regulars, Baz D. & Jona. The music starts when the doors open, at 7.15 and if you want a table, they do get snapped up pretty quickly. Greeting you at the door with the usual cheery welcome, will be the Delectable Elaine & the Lovely Carol. We will also be holding a raffle on the night for the British Heart foundation and any donations would be greatly appreciated. So, come on down and see how good it really is.

Jona’s Last Hoorah! Well after nearly fifty years on the scene and over twenty years DJing, it’s Colin (Jona) Jones’s last Northern Soul spot and we will be celebrating at no better venue than Bilsthorpe Welfare. With a great friendly crowd, fabulous bar prices and a maple spring dance floor that doesn’t even need talc. Joining us for this spectacular, a few Surprise Guest DJs, who will all be joining in on the celebration. The Doors open when the music starts at 7.15 and it’s still only a fiver to get in. This Month sees the return of an old favourite at SFSC, William Cudworth (aka Billy Backdrop), so guaranteed to be a brilliant night.
