Yes I'm talking about the best on stage in the soulful sixties...Gladys Knight And The Pips...The Temptations...The Intruders...The Artistics...The Spinners...The O'Jays...The Manhattans...The Unifics...The Delphonics...The Five Stairsteps...and I'm not talking about swaying back and forth but moving...oh and of course-James Brown's Famous Flames.

  8. This song is a killer, released in[1964]it has a great lead, good backing but went nowhere[go figure]two years after their monster hit[I l Love You].
  9. Talk about a love song, you want to get close get that goodnight kiss well play this gem and you're in I assure you, very well structured with a great soulful lead...a love song from the soul of The Temprees.

  14. The soul don't get no better than this kickin gem from-1967 written by Clarence Carter, Miss Etta puts boot her feet into this one and the result is a soul classic for the ages.

  16. This little jam from[1971]maybe one of the most unliked songs from the vast Miracles songbook, but it wasn't a bad song as it has a good beat and of course the clever lyrics, but it should have been put on an album not as a single.
  17. Inspite of his troubles with taxes, drugs and his dad Marvin could still deliver a great love song as he does here...as sensual as always-Marvin!!

  19. This little ditti from-1963 is just cool, and it didn't sell that well but it's one of his classics.
  20. One of their best is the nice-On My Word Of Honor.
  21. Very nicely done from-1966 he should have released this one as a follow up to his smash-Sunny.
