  2. i remember djin at a northern event which i wont name last year things were goin well enjoying myself when; some guy comes upto me and asks if i had any "middle of the road" in amazement and quick thinking i said over the mike; "a guy has just asked for some middle of the road sorry dont have "churpy churpy cheep cheep" didnt realise it was that kind of night!!!!" the guy wasnt impressed, but i thought it was funny happy soulin

  14. for me, my personal favourite uk has to be helen shapiro double sider on columbia 1964 shop around , great uptempo r&b version of miracles he knows how to love me , totally superb mid tempo piece of uk soul russ
  15. hi settle down nice track a now hard one to find, mr manship values, festival white dj - £300 which was booted ( got a boot somewhere if interested ) festival multi coloured dj - £700 ( have seen a couple over the year £300/£400 ) festival red issue - £450 values and what you want to pay is a different story! any help to you russ

  18. steve regards the tempos which i have to in same format looked on popsike .com ( shows auction prices) theres one on there which sold earlier this year for £75 identical to ours can anyone please confirm that the vinyl format is indeed a org or not? yes do agree not worth £150! cheers russ

  20. hi if any help with other 2 which all 3 have been booted in the 70s tempos was issued on yellow canterbury( more of a darker yellow moulded on label not styrene with numbers 660-504A stratched in the playout) edward hamilton( white background red squares and lightish blue lettering) any good
  21. thats fair pete totally agree with you. thats why i was asking the question regards where these records are and would they sell them supply demand this applies to all records.... russ still dont know what chavspeak is! will have to ask my teenager son

  24. hi all recenty sold a high keys, living a lie (light blue demo) £250, as i had 2 copies. my gud mate came round 2 spin a few sounds who also has a same copy. knowing also that the above sold on Mr Manships auction 4 £300+ recently it got us talking... there are 4 original formats ( manship guide) VERVE DJ yellow £300 ,, ,, DJ light blue £250 ,, ,, dark blue £200 ,, ,, black £300 it got us wondering.. who else owns a copy? where r they? wot format? and wud they keep or sell? supply n demand which dictates the value. so the question is... how many of u gud people have a copy/format/keep or sell which will tell which of the 4 is the rarest format ,knowing that this record was not hard to obtain in the 70/80s we await your response n feedback happy soulin....
