later issue/demo has the different flip, as the first issue official top side is "each time"
strange that your copy and mine are near mint that must say something about how hard this 45 is!! if you see what
i mean
yes would say that as probably happened, the guy concerned i believe may have been nieve that he had a rare 45
for sale as the other stuff he was listing was nothing out of the ordinary.
hi all, been watching a item on ebay which was due to end tonight, the item concerned had no bids but just checked it
and the auction has ended! i logged this as a watched item so im led to believe that he would see that the item was being
watched.
what do you think?
russ
i have!! but as most of the other issues in vg+ condition but plays ex. seen a mintish copy posted up on here
a while back.
i was led to believe that this 45 had a press of 500 copies only? never seen a w/demo though
russ
agree with mikki farrow great price, top double sider and so ruddy hard to find
but am really suprised with the velvet satins!! so if anyone wants to pay £587 save yourselves £40
ive got a vinyl w/demo as sold by jm or happy to do a deal on a mikki farrow as a straight swap
its a funny old game this collecting lark
russ
yes boba, sounds of soul combo, would say late sixties funkish instrumental which imo is bloody good full on raw
uptempo instro, especailly side 1 cant stop playing it. would sound awesome played out on a good system.
russ
yes dave that seems viable as the label is minimal plus the track im referring to sounds very raw.
so does that make it a rare label? ie a one off release?
russ
hi all, looking for some info if any regards "square deal" us record label
can anyone shed any light on this one? any other soul releases, place of origin etc?
regards
russ
is this the same detroit ten high label as hank johnson - lost love which features the instrumental on the flip. also came
across the same instrumental by the infernos who are credited on the hank johnson flip. funnily enough the infernos as the same
release number as hank johnson but as a vietnam song as the a side.
russ
hi steve, got a demo with the curved president logo, the few ive seen have all got president running straight
whats your copy? also what is the value off this awesome uptempo rnb dancer? must be £50+? not a easy one to
track down.
russ
"do the bump to the bump" fantastic lyrics dont write em like that nowadays. memories of my sister bopping to this in her bedroom
with the rubettes bay city rollers
the rubettes now they were cool with there white berries "sugar baby love" were they soul lovers?
