hi andy, hope your well, firstly sorry i missed your night but was in sheffield regards cleaning i have been using mr muscle, window and glass cleaner for years now, firstly spray a small ammount onto vinyl try not to get on labels as some may stain. then lighty work it in with your finger, leave for a few moments, then wipe round with a soft cloth play 45/33 though and watch the crap being drawn out, play though 2 or 3 times wiping after each play. also gives a nice shine!!! give it a try russ

hi all, looking for sensible offers on this rare detroit misspressed 45 little roger hatcher - get a hold of yourself - ten high 102 VG+ (uptempo mid 60s detroit, originally pressed on the rare dela-northern label 103, this misspress is labelled as hank johnson - lost love) few light scuffs/marks to vinyl which dont effect a strong loud play, with only a couple of light pops right at the end, labels faded, light wear round the edge with no tears writing etc. actual soundclip from 45 can be found on here pitched down -2, also a scan which isnt from 45 on offer (scan is same label,artist,title as misspressed 45, but as described above) if interested pm or email russel.holley@btinternet.com thanks for looking russ

hi all, as most i would love to own a collection of pristine 45s but this is pretty hard to do we all must own lesser conditioned 45s within our collections so whats your most battered 45? you know the one sits in the back of the box looks like its been run over by a bulldozer, labels have seen better days to! but the funny thing is, unless you manage to replace with a minter you just keep it because, it might be a rarity, your favourite, sentimental reasons etc ill kick off; duke browner - crying over you - impact issue looks like the above decription, but hey plays really well with just a few pops hear n there maybe some scans, to see who owns the most battered 45!! but must be playable, and in one piece russ

hi all, its allways nice when you see a mint 45 with a pristine company sleeve, and even better when you find one yes there are mint 45s out there but its getting harder to find true mint copies even some that look unplayed still have surface noise etc. got me thinking that how hard is it nowadays to find unplayed in demand, classic, rare 60s stuff, with collectors happy just to own a copy in any condition until that minter comes along, personally i love to see a pristine label being either a issue or a lovely crisp white demo aslong as the record plays though! my questions are, what 45s have you never owned or seen in unplayed condition? what label is the hardest to get a minter on?, always found musicor issues hard as they all seemed to have some signs of ringwear. what 45s are the hardest to get a minter ie bad recordings, sound quality, defects, water damaged labels etc? these questions are based on 60s recordings russ

love this tune mark, have had a issue which i sold cheap on here a while back, and managed to pick up a mintish demo with its original company sleeve for alot less than i sold the vg+ issue!! just out of interest do you class this 45? NS or popcorn? or something else? happy hunting a really nice underplayed slab of mid tempo magic regards russ
