  2. My Favourite from The Supremes - I Hear A Symphony Absolute Banging Motown Sound...….
  3. Very sad news another Great has gone R.I.P. Jackie Moore.. I loved This Time Baby from the moment I first heard it at a Night Club in Bournemouth in the late 1970's this Track really stood out amongst the other records played at the time, for me So Soulful but with a touch of Disco to please everybody on the Dance Floor...
  4. Thanks for posting, I was watching the Hamilton Movement - She's Gone.. It went into extra time once it cleared six thousand. It ended on an incredible £6,618.00 Wow...

  6. Cecil, Bill Bush, Stanley Mitchell, and the Adams Apples for me please
  7. Copy up on Discogs at last but out of my price range $3,500 (£2,730)
  8. Nice write up Mike, thank you for sharing.
  9. Yes a small crack on the outer edge of the record but it didn't affect play, I cursed it coming up for sale at the time Frankie as I had a Dynamo issue copy on it's way from America which was in Good plus condition and I was worried I would be sending it back even though the seller told me it played through without skips just a few pops and crackles, and to be fair he was true to his word.
  10. Way over priced most of that August batch, sensible money for me was the George Blackwell and Stanley Mitchell 45's seen them go for a lot more especially George...
  11. Exus Trek for me, Superb Instrumental, that's what I play with the dj-ing unless the Vocal is requested...
  12. Headbone, Yes he is, I have had a few records off him when I felt the price was fair compared to what other dealers were asking, I will say one thing the records were always in top condition and no worry of getting hit with the dreaded import duties...
  13. Billy hand's down for me, One Hell Of A Dancer, gee that's worn out some Shoe Leather over the Years...
  14. I can only echo what Ian has already said, Van McCoy was a Musical Genius... I always enjoyed hearing the Shuffle from the first day I heard it as a youngster I knew then I was listening to something magical....
  15. It was gone within 24 hours Jeff, it was a VG++ copy up for $1500 (£1200) What put me off even thinking about buying it was the Seller said he would put the true Value payed for the record on the package so you would get hit big time with import duty.
  16. A Despenza copy came up on Discogs this Morning for sale in the States, it was still on there last time I looked.
  17. Excellent Thread.... As been said have they ever done a duff Record... My favourite Two from Gladys and the Boys, Part Time Love & Make Yours A Happy Home...
  18. I had the Silhouettes Get A Job Album on Goodway arrive safe and sound from the States, owed me £90 in the end as I got hit with twenty quid import duty, no sign of the give away Not Me Baby single included unfortunately. Talking of which a copy of that single went through John Manships Auction last Wednesday Night 5th June 2019, Well over 50 Bids after going into 15 minutes extra time with people keen to bag it, ended on £1560 so I can live with getting stung 20 sheets on import duty.
  19. Brilliant Instrumental with Sir Mike Terry's Magic Touch.... Milton Wright & The Terra Shirma Strings - The Gallop
  20. Excellent News, Let's be standing for Sir Richard Searling Number One Soul Spinner.....
  21. Thank You so much Mr Andrew "Mike" Terry for Your Massive Contribution To Soul Music.....
  22. Was it really five Years ago, I really enjoyed the Northern Soul Movie it was something to see on the big screen at my local Cinema I felt lucky that someone had made the effort to make a film about music I have such a passion for.
  23. Wasn't Gene Woodbury one of those records given away in Soul Packs in the 1970's, the poor man's Ever Again, love it!
  24. Big favourite of mine from Mary Wells - What's Easy For Two Is So Hard For One. Still a very popular song with the dancers to this day...
  25. I know one thing, I will have a bloody good look to see if the single is still in that Album cover when it lands here!
