Hiya, there was some controversy about 'its better to cry'. Was a big tune. For sound quality it's on one of the Kent masterpieces of modern soul. Great tune though, cheers
Hiya, I have one the same as yours and I couldn't find the raised lettering. People who have looked at it say it's legit ? I know I paid £3 and over 30 years ago. The reason I remember it is I bought garnet mimms green demo ' as long as I have you' with it and was disappointed that it was a live sounding version. What a waste of a quid. I'm gonna dig epitome of sound out and have another look. As for garnet I swapped it for some cd's off a mate and then he sold his collection to Tim brown. When I see that lovely demo sold for silly money I always think, bugger me they'll be bloody disappointed, cheers
Most of my records are cheap and I think most times I play out someone always comes up and asks or these days take a picture and I say it's only a tenner pal, cheers
It was one of my mates favourite records and he always danced to it on the rare occasions we heard it and I can't remember many others on the dancefloor. It does have a fast awkward beat with strings, sounds like a lot going on. Good record though. Scary thought, it was probably 25 years ago that I last saw my mate dance to it, cheers
Must say after commenting, which was a little tongue in cheek, I'm stunned by the price that people are asking. Probably thinking of another record ??, Cheers
Hiya Mal, the boot acetate is probably worth more than the original. Obviously more interest from psych rock fans than soul. Can't remember where (orange label) for about a tenner. File under rock for purchase price, cheers
Hiya, not sure but Sunday you'll pay for day and end party at a guess ?? Normally a few hours between day and night do but could be different this year, cheers
Hiya Chris, love the Debonairs, same as dramatics but soft uptempto reggae, let me know if there's one for sale, it was re issued ?? Boot, cheers, Pete
until
