yep, I saw him in 2014 too at the STOCKPORT PLAZA and although he did not perform any of his northern soul anthems there he was superb with his various "soul oldies" so he clearly knew those songs a lot better, however I didnt see him last weekend so cannot comment on how he is 3 years later for any of them

I have both but like you I prefer Lee Rogers on Wheelsville I played it back in march at Denton Soul Club in my guest spot and a few people asked me who it was I also played Bunny Sigler - Will you still love me tomorrow and some people thought it was the Len Barry version !! and to compound the confusion I played Ray Whitley - I`ve been hurt and an argument ensued near the bar as some thought it was Guy Darrell !!!!! but they all generated a lot of interest and I sometimes think that is the point of doing a guest spot , so thanks to Mike and Pete for letting e loose on the decks for an hour so deffo Lee Rogers in my book ps:- forgot to say, I have a spare copy on Wheelsville too

there is a JAMIE one on ebay for £75 , alternatrively there is the one on joker which is a lot less you dont see many of the originals around and so I opted for the joker ep

I definitely bought quite a few at "ralphs records" near Victoria Station back in the early seventies , I sold up around the mid eighties so have none of them now, and I seem to remember a few others above were on different "bootleg" labels too , I think my Alex Patton was , and Tightrope by Inez and Charlie Foxx , possibly "Discotheque" too , but I had over half a dozen of them including Leon Haywood and Tami Lynn and Earl Harrison at the time always feel nostalgic about that particular label, and AFAIK the wheel had closed before I bought mine so not sure that the wheel trade is true (I suspect its false as I seem to remember working as an apprentice when these all came out and yes I have also read previous threads , probably on here as well as on discogs about this particular label and JK etc
