  1. He's had a friend take a 'proper' photo of the M.S.I.Co stamp and included it in the relisting ...
  2. Seller just messaged me confirming the stamp is present on the right hand side under the Production credits , it is there to the touch and hard to see with the naked eye through the clean label but it's beyond his abilities camera wise to photograph. He has also sent a photo of the deadwax markings though which match the October 2016 copy and show a good oblique view of the label showing a nice pristine gloss to it.
  3. Seems to me that some folk are getting annoyed that their so-called 'limited edition' has been re-pressed purely because it might affect future value of a potential "rarity" .... If you want to buy a MD +P as an investment then fork out for an original FFS ...
  4. Had no response to my request for a pic of the MSICo stamp so I'm going to put my £9891.60 back in my wallet ........ ....... and have a proper spend-up down the 100 Club tomorrow instead ....
  5. Well the vendor actually responded favourably and has posted images of the A-side confirming it to be a third copy , this one unblighted by large marker pen 'X's' on the A-side.
  6. Have just requested an image of the "Roadrunner" side be added to the listing . Cannot be sure that this is another (3rd) copy to have turned up until I can compare the other side to the previous 2 copies.
  7. Nearly as daft as the chancer who's listed a real one for £1200.00 on Discogs ...
  8. The LP version is an alternative take rather than the Gordy version per se , the only 'Promos' I've seen of are the UK 'Green and White' and an Australian 'Black and Blue' one. ( Sadly John my G+W demo's not for sale ... )
  9. Deadwax details listed on Discogs , also mention of a carver with lookalike labels which would carry no deadwax marks. Real one shows what looks like an anti-slip ring under the moulded over label which a boot would be missing . ( Keep clicking on image to get to full size version.)
  10. Why , states it's a copy ... ? P.S. You might want to add your photos to Discogs listing ...

  12. Don't be daft , he'll just list it again in the next auction ...
  13. Patti Austin - You Didn't Say A Word , 1972 version of the 1967 original by Yvonne Baker ... ?
  14. You're welcome ...

  18. Fingers well and truly burnt if it's not a real one ... just went for $5988.00 ....
  19. That's the Kent LP ... ? ... the demo on the cover of that is "Don't Wait Too Long" , the Make Me Yours pictured is the black issue. There's some info here suggesting that they didn't skimp on promotion for the single so you'd think there'd be umpteen demos about ? ( From this page ... https://dereksmusicblog.com/2016/08/03/bettye-swann-the-very-best-of-bettye-swann-2/ )
  20. According to one of the membership cards it's a Martin Cook.

  22. Like everything in life too much of anything will very soon render it stale , if they were in the hands of every wannabe DJ , being played at all the pissant soul nights that are suffocating the calendar , then like all the other myriad tunes that have been booted the magic would be lost.
