  1. That Sandi Sheldon issue is a thing of beauty I must say ...
  2. Just a quick heads up to let you know that Lancaster PA474 is airborne and making her way from RAF Hendon to start her evenings flypast tour of the Lincolnshire airfields. I hope some of you are well placed to get a glimpse on this most auspicious of evenings ... She can be tracked live here ...https://planefinder.net/flight/PA474 Planned route .... https://www.military-airshows.co.uk/press23/bbmfpropchastise80thapr2023.htm?fbclid=IwAR1frgvcg97PijFiqxU5Q1hnERGu8mBxrkocXTgCWbm14tVajAZqVUb68FI
  3. Details still up on JM's site ... https://www.raresoulman.co.uk/auction/soul-auction/soul-auction-ending-this-wednesday.html
  4. The only good thing about it was that it should have killed off once and for all the ridiculous notion that Mr Elba would make a good successor to Mr Craig as you know who. The character that made Luther so watchable was Ruth Wilson's delightfully deranged Alice. "Whitehouse Plumbers" is well worth watching.
  5. I guess a lot of MGM labels are 'poorly printed' then looking at these ... usually a good pointer generally.
  6. Managed to find a small bit of blue and got to snatch a few frames with the other new lens. A Sigma 150-600C that I got mainly for wildlife but I hoped would double up as a grab and go Solar/Lunar tool too. A 2x TC at the back and a 95mm Baader ND5.0 filter up front on the Canon 2000D off the everyday Manfrotto tripod. I need to mount a dovetail on the lens tripod collar so it'll fit the HEQ5Pro as 1200mm on a triopd's no fun with a moving target ... Single jpeg shot 1/500s @ f13 ISO 100. Just cropped square and tweaked in Gimp.
  7. Look at the lettering , clean and crisp.
  8. Last time I made a comment like that I got a right bollocking ...
  9. Going by the very poor printing and the fact that there's no sign of anything similar in an online search I'd be confident that it's a wrong'un.
  10. No , I meant his name here on Soul Source ...
  11. Tried the obvious in a Member search to no avail , assume he's departed these shores for FB ... ?
  12. I don't recall whether he covers it in his 'counterfeit' videos , I can't be arsed to trawl through all of his channel to find out tbh . I'd tag him here for more info but can't recall his pseudonym.
  13. I agree , considering how much useless waffle usually accompanies his listings it would have been nice if he'd actually posted up something more useful on this one.

  15. Barbara Hall - Tell Me Tell Me Tell Me on Tuska
  16. I've an acre to play in here , all greenery of a multitude of types , so "endless" sums it up quite well and it'll be a great excuse to let things get a little unkempt for a while ...
  17. Well after much deliberation and research I've bitten the bullet macro lens-wise and just received a used , but perfect Laowa 100mm F/2.8 2X Ultra Macro APO and a Godox V350-C Flashgun to accompany it. If anyone needs me I shall be found on my hands and knees in the undergrowth hunting tiny critters ...
  18. My latest must-watch is "Ratched" a prequel series to "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" .
  19. https://www.heritagesouthholland.co.uk/article/bulb-fields-around-spalding/ https://www.spaldingflowerparade.org.uk/ I assume they started around the time the Fens were drained by Cornelius Vermuyden in the 1630s ... ?
  20. Never had the pleasure of seeing them in your part of the world but have seen similar if smaller displays around Spalding in the Fens in the past.
  21. Just had a first play with a pretty extreme macro set up using bits I had kicking about . An old 50mm f1.8 lens reverse mounted on a spare 75-300 zoom with a £4.00 adapter gets me in a little too close for general stuff but for the task I had in mind it'll do well. First go at Depth Stacking in Canon's DPP4 , 13 frames stacked of a Dandelion seed , uncropped ...
