  1. Cheers for that , it's been so long since the first half of the series aired that I'm presently revisiting it before starting thenew episode. As for Mr Costner's 'epic' western thing "Horizon : An American Saga" , I've tried it twice but I find it's like wading through treacle.
  2. They need burying not merging ...
  3. We've already had a thread from Mike on the subject ... interestingly the YT channel got chopped soon after the thread ...
  4. Marks and Spencers 2024 Christmas ad.
  5. Episode nine of the final season of "Yellowstone" has just hit the screens after an awful long wait ...
  6. Discogs shows it was featured on 4 CDs , all Goldmine jobs. https://www.discogs.com/artist/2085128-John-And-The-Weirdest?anv=John %26 The Weirdest&filter_anv=1
  7. It's still sitting in the 'Latest Additions' pile ...
  8. Already a thread running ...
  9. Am I the only one that finds the "900 copies in the trunk" story complete twaddle , it's the sort of bullsh*ttery you use to hear spouted as fact at 3am at an all-nighter back in the day. Who in their right mind would try and recycle the vinyl from 900 singles by hiding them in a car that's about to be crushed at a scrapyard ... it's a story that the mighty Fudge would be proud of ...
  10. Kaiya stated in a YouTube comment a year ago that it's not her mother ...
  11. Get someone to grab a file and have a carver cut I guess ...
  12. I knew who cut/played it. Sounds like it could well have been my edited file that was 'restored' then , that's a bummer ...
  13. What's not to understand ? A few carvers were cut around five years ago.
  14. As I said above , that label is a make believe job made for the carvers that were cut 'recently'. The original is indeed a proper 60s acetate bearing no such details.
  15. It's a made up label Rob , the actual acetate is blank untitled and uncredited as I recall .
  16. Interesting that the seller has just started "offering discounts" to me because I viewed the items , anyone else had the same ... ?
  17. Interesting username , sounds decidedly bridge-dweller ...
  18. Cheers. As to the "unknown" track before the Soundmasters do you recognise the label on the left hand deck @17:42 in the video ?
  19. Well the other 'cover-up' on the video for starters ...... oh no that one's another piece of mediocre poptwaddle too ...
  20. So just for clarification , which three 45s are you referring to that were overpressed and only make £25 ?
  21. I was referring to the part of your comment about the 'value' of the 45s. I don't think anyone's suggesting that these are counterfeits pressed after the initial run , a quick look at the photos tells me that they're the real thing , but a proper close-up examination would reveal run-out discrepancies etc. No-one's ever made a counterfeit that can't be spotted by some means or other . The question is whether more titles were over-pressed than originally thought , but if not then where did these multiple 'brand new' copies suddenly spring from and end up in the hands of one particular seller on the bay. Perhaps you'd be so kind , in your capacity as the self-proclaimed expert and connections the label , to undertake said investigation on behalf of the rest of us mere mortals.
  22. What a ridiculous statement , there are plenty of bootleggers out there making a living selling £15 pressings so knocking them out for over a ton a piece is a very lucrative enterprise indeed.
  23. I do apologise ... Seems a little strange that they'd go to the effort of test pressings if no release appeared though , that said the album does look very much like a private/vanity job judging by the 'artwork' so maybe they thought about releasing a single then thought better of it and never pulled the trigger on a full pressing run.
