  1. I'm mortified ..... Facts are facts , can't change history no matter how many time you cover your eyes or ears ...
  2. Was thinking about making the trip but am holding fire until 2027 , when I'm off to Sfax in Tunisia to share the longer (6 minute) totality with friends under clear Saharan skies without yanks to spoil the fun ... I'll be watching a livestream of today's happening if I can find one from a cloud clear location , the weather doesn't look overably favourable for much of the totality path unfortunately for those that did brave the hyperbole , the trip and the extortionate price-hikes over there .
  3. You're probably after vinyl but it's on this CD. https://www.discogs.com/release/5261466-The-Velvelettes-The-Very-Best-Of-The-Velvelettes
  4. And why do you suppose that might be ...
  5. That's bl**dy awful , as "soulless" a noise as I've ever heard , not even a good rip of the "Satisfaction" riff ... I'd suggest refilling your prescription ...
  6. Nice to know there are so many moaning Minnies on here still ... I'd have thought that the prospect of 30 unheard MG tapes with 66 demos of unheard songs on them would have been met with a tad more enthusiasm to be honest ... Here's hoping there are a few real gems amongst them to cheer you miserable buggers up a bit ...
  7. Just seen this on the BBC news ... https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-68674814
  8. One on 'cogs for £4000 but that's a tad ambitious I'd say , last few on P'sike about £2-2500.
  9. Just finished the final episode of "Masters of the Air" ... Not quite up to the extremely high standards set by "Band of Brothers" and "The Pacific" but a very good watch nevertheless ...
  10. Good luck with that , all the ones I've seen recently have been tipping £50 , but someone might have a near unplayable G copy for less ...
  11. Just watched "Poor Things" , a perfect antedote to a miserable soggy day ... A very worthy Oscar winning performance by Emma Stone , a must see movie no shadow of a doubt ...
  12. I'd assumed he was probably on here for the erratum to have been added so quickly ... ?
  13. I think he went to Wigan once in '79 , got off his tits and kippered right up by some unscrupulous dealers. It's just taken him 45 years to pluck up the courage to show his face again ...
  14. That new listers other items descriptions are great ... He's got a 1983 released demo that he bought from Wigan in 1979 ... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/176275651237?itmmeta=01HRS6Z866PN1800633CDNWJXV&hash=item290ad8faa5:g:rysAAOSwp6ZfSBQP
  15. And everybody knocks the postal service. This must be the quickest "Buy , realise your mistake , take delivery of , and relist in a vain attempt to claw some losses back" ever recorded ...
  16. Doesn't look that way , but I can't be arsed to log in and look at the bidding ...
  17. It's now got a "Sold" banner draped across it that wasn't there at 07:45 and it states that it was sold last night ... ?
  18. Very true Steve , but given the amount of information they now have literally at their fingertips then there's no excuse for them getting those fingers burnt once in a while , just sheer laziness as far as doing a little simple research is concerned. Only from the lazy wannabees that can't be arsed to do a little research ...
