Inside Palma cathedral. My apologies I am not religious, but I love religious buildings and architecture and in particular cathedrals. I believe this is to signify the Holy Trinity ??? sorry if Ive got that wrong, just thought it was stunning and should be shared. It was added by Gaudi 50 years after the Cathedral was completed. x

Bless, he's getting on a bit now The wildlife here is stunning, if you like birds, butterflies and wild flowers you cannot go wrong. I have a VERY large bird circling above me, don't know what it is, but its underside is the most beautiful deep red, will try to take a photo, but I only have a 'happy snappy' camera.and he is a 'tad' too fast for me! This beastie was waiting on my garden step this morning......................... x

We decided to take the dog for a walk along one of our 'Cami Cavells' (nature/country walks) this afternoon, they can be hard work at times, but the end reward is so worth it! x

I know what you mean, I lived in Amsterdam for a while, fabulous country, but can be a little "well managed". If anyone on here likes the countryside, I can highly recommend our little island here in the Med, its has UNESCO Biosphere Status, is very green and has the most stunning landscapes. I must take more walks with my camera and post a few, trouble is, I only have a 'happy snappy'camera, so I cant capture its majesty and grandeur. Ill have a go! x

Hi Steve Mr W and I are doing just fine here on our little island. The photo was taken on mainland Spain in a place called 'Zahara de los Atunes' my sister and her late husband lived there., I do recall many birds would 'stop over' there on their migration route, much like they do here (its a birdie paradise), but I don't think that bird was one of the masses! x

I took this one from my sisters house, I was trying to get a photo of Trafalgar (as in 'the battle of') which is in the distance. However, if you look closely on the rock there is a rather large birdie, I have no idea what, but someone on here will know x

I live here in Menorca (currently a VERY rainy Menorca) Jackie lived and was well know on the island (and although divorced Tony Hatch lives here too!!) Fabulous voice, and some great tunes RIP to a great talent x
