    Florence, my favourite city......................must go back there! (you are right about the tourists.....sadly!) I queued for 3 hours at the Galleria dell' Accademia to see 'David' Worth every minute! x

    No, they are all tall and we removed all the lower spines and the shorter cacti before we bought him home from the rescue centre. (He is far too precious to be hurt) But he just loves to dig in the white stones, usually after chasing gecko's. Which means my veggie patch remains intact! x

    Been for a walk around Ciutadella today, had lunch by the old port and when we came home my new Hibiscus has flowered, love the colours! x

    Hey Dave I did want to leave it but the orange tree is still a baby, so he is now lodging on an older tree and I am monitoring progress Can anyone help out with this mushroom/toadstool/funghi/dunnowhatthehell Its growing under an hibiscus, its quite frail, but its not getting much sun under such a large bushy plant Cant find info it and I'm quite concerned cause of Clyde (doggy) Im sure someone on here can help out x

    Just found this little bu**ger eating away at my orange tree this afternoon!! He has now been relocated to the garden wall..................... with a few leaves to chomp away on! Eastern Black Swallowtail???? x

    Took Clyde for a walk to 'Es Grau' in Albufera national park today, managed to snap this cactus before falling of the wall!, think I'm still a teenager, climbing over walls indeed!!! x

    Hi Steve We are both fine if not somewhat HOT!! I shall have a smell tomorrow and report back Hope I don't get spiked sadly the flowers don't seem to last on most cactus, this one was taken yesterday, sadly gone today. x,

    Ive had this cactus in my garden for about 3 years, not a particularly pretty one, but then today this appeared.

    Thanks Dave, Ill keep a look out We rescued Clyde almost 11 months ago, and he is my main man!..................don't tell Steve I said that, he thinks he is!! x

Thanks Peter, I sure Ill come up trumps on here, there is such an amazing cross section of people, and some REALLY amazing photographers, I don't think Ill ever get to the heights of expertise shown on here, but I'm willing to give it a go and share what I find along the way,............ x

    I'm looking for a decent camera for myself, I see the most beautiful flora and fauna on a daily basis while Clyde and I go for our walks, and I only have "happy snappy" camera and a phone camera........................ Any recommendations? Maybe someone on here has one to sell? I AM AN ABSOLUTE BEGINNER, but willing to learn, please don't blind me with science!! BTW this is Clyde xx

    We overlook a beautiful meadow and have this growing in abundance, excuse my ignorance I have no idea what it is, it grows in between the huge thistles similar to those posted by Tattoo Dave. x
