The First Brighton Rhythm & Soul Weekender will deliver 3 days of Outtasight sounds from a host of top line and International DJs. Think Northern Soul, Motown, Classic 60s Soul, Old School R & B with a dollop of Mod Anthems and a sprinkling of Boogaloo and more 'In Crowd' special ingredients. Each session will be curated by different established outfits who have paid their dues in their genres. LOOSE CABOOSE kick off the weekend. Hosted by Martin Jackson and Rachelle Piper, they are delighted to be introducing their special guests Andy Hill (Chills & Fever) and John Kelly (MG Blues, Manchester). Alfie Linney brings his LONG JOHN BALDRY team over from Southampton. For many years a fixture of The Isle of Wight Mod Weekends, they're coming to Brighton for the first time as they didn't want to miss The Rhythm & Soul Weekender. Every August Bank Holiday Sunday finds TOO DARN SOULFUL holding court in The Funkyfish with one of their legendary Northern Soul Alldayers. As ever, it will be a full house to hear That Beatin Rhythm being delivered by another esoteric line-up of quality DJs that Paddy Shevlin always manages to pull together.
