  1. Jeffrey Bowen, flip to "I'll get by"...
  2. I'll email the shop when I get a chance, maybe Sunday, I'll attach a couple of photos to give her some idea of the challenge involved. Thanks Steve.
  3. Does she ever work with earthenware clay, doing slab building or maybe even Raku firing in her spare time away from the shop. I collect Raku studio pieces, and I'm always looking for shohin or mame bonsai pots of good quality.
  4. A weird one to start off the weekend early, Cilka & The Second Generation...
  5. Is that recent? as it looks relatively mild weather, and I'm due to descend on the area next Thursday for a week to see family.
  6. Nice one Pete
  7. No completely different guy Kev, lightning doesn't strike twice and all that. I remember it finished early evening for me, about 7.15 and I had to hurry home from the studio. I bid considerably more than I got it for. Doing nicely here thanks Kev, just walked the dog in tee-shirt and shorts. I'll be at the next 100 Club do, I'm working all day straight after, so that'll be fun. Dave
  8. Thelma Lindsey is available on a green labelled Magic City boot, one made £80 last year. Ben Aiken is available on a boot, a Dutch manufactured lookalike
  9. much better than now Ted, I was earning $120 an hour tattooing then, a days work paid for it
  10. It was me Kev, long before a member on here. Thank you for your purchase. Details are provided below and your total amount due is $926.70. 11. Zooms is the genuine article.
  12. Well done you, there's a slight colour difference on the label too, the original looks more olive green than the boot.
  13. 1976 boot, taken from 45cat website
  14. Supposedly there's a number difference on the boots, 5444 on the original, 5544 on the boot, also the original has MZC or MZG (looks like either) scratched in, where the boot doesn't.
  15. Sarah, may I suggest you take a trip to one of the London all night venues to check out the youngsters there, particularly the Rat Trap where it's very Mod R&B edged and the youngsters dress in very smart 60's Italian type clothes, in my eye that's proper retro style.
  16. Should have a Nashville matrix stamp
  17. my last one for today, the flip to I'll Never Forget You
  18. Another from the same visit, which also involved a trip to Brussels where I met the chap who admitted to being behind the bootlegging of Sam Fletcher.
  19. Another from Bruges from me, probably one of my favourite photos, only because of the decadent look on the face of the dog.
  20. There's a small café near one of the perimeter windmills that is run by a couple of Belgian soulies, lots of memorabilia and scooter stuff in the café, and the food wasn't bad either. I first visited Bruges when a teenager, looking for Tintin stuff and Belgian beer after forging the paymaster's signature on a border pass from Germany, I used to sell them for 10 marks each, made a small fortune
  21. Beautiful city, was there a few years ago when it snowed. I took this and the rather disturbing second image whilst there.
  22. Looks like two different line-ups, apart from the one sporting a hat. The dress code of the first lot looks too contemporary, compared to the 70's vibe the second lot lave going on, plus a member short, though post Sunday lunch my eyes might be deceiving me.
  23. More mellow Sunday music, The Spidells flip to "If It Ain't One Thing" on Coral
  24. Another sleeper, The Concords - "Don't Go Now" on Herald
