  1. But how? No receipt from car boot fairs.
  2. I see them flying in formation here in the winter, pretty spectacular it is too, don't have geese here but these look just as good.
  3. I can understand why people don't use Royal Mail in that case. I bought some Matchbox toys mint and boxed for 50p each and some of those sold for over £300 each, it wasn't my mark up, it was what someone was prepared to pay for it, it sold by auction, not a BIN price.
  4. I don't see as it's any of their business what you paid for it, no-one is expected to keep a receipt for 40 years surely?
  5. It's probably jargonese for what you sold it for, I had stuff go missing that I'd sold on eBay and sent special delivery with a value up to £500, it got damaged in the post and they wanted to know the purchase price, I just sent them the eBay checkout page printed out, they paid up the full amount and me and the purchaser were refunded.
  6. It's a Canna, Wyoming is the variety.
  7. Lovely place, went there many years ago and a male chaffinch flew in through the car window and sat on the dash waiting for crumbs from our sandwiches.
  8. A bit of modern from one of the other Jacksons...
  9. Brought a tear, or many, to my eyes, beautiful.
  10. A Canadian release from Pat Hervey...
  11. A little crossover gem from me for today...
  12. Looks like a common Buzzard to me too Steve, and I've seen both of the others, it's beak is too small for an eagle, by nature buzzards are slack-mettled, they'd sooner eat carrion than hunt most of the time.
  13. a nice Betty Lavette flip for a Sunday...
  14. That's sad, at least you gave him a chance.
  15. There's one on YouTube that is coming up for it's 13th birthday in captivity, and it speaks a lot. Also saw one that says "Pump up the volume, dance, dance".
  16. Good luck Harry, but if he's following you down the garden he might already be imprinted too much.
  17. You can get them to speak if you try, they are brilliant mimics.
  18. I actually reported the item, but it didn't get taken down, maybe it needs multiple reports from various people? The Stemmons Express sold last night (by another seller) looked like someone had just drilled a hole in one of the new reissues, it went for more than treble the price of the reissue, so that could open the floodgates for a scallywag with a drill.
  19. In his defence, not that his actions are defendable, the flip picture was send as an attachment to a message after I questioned it's validity, and anyone bidding on it would only have seen the Discogs generated picture on the listing which claims that the record he's selling is original.
  20. £208 now Rob, still 4 hours to go, complete lunacy.
  21. Thanks, I'm easily confused
  22. Is that Grimsthorpe Castle?
  23. I'm glad you raised that as I'm not convinced about both
  24. It looks like it, possibly not very sharp
  25. I asked him to put up pictures of his other listings which were somehow personalised to prove ownership, he said he would, but said he'd be selling lots of records and didn't have the time to personalise them all, I do feel sorry for him, and anyone that bids on his stuff.
