Listen to Larry Allen - Cant We Talk It Over, about two thirds of the way in. The bass player gets totally lost and the piano is feeling its way back into the song !... the band are clearly just running through the song but someone decided that the take was fine.

Tribe styrene original.
Guaranteed floor filler and a fantastic tune.
VG+ a few light scuff marks, not audible. Plays great throughout, just the odd crackle on the quiet intro.

Swiss Movement - Come Around Here - from the It's Time For The Swiss Movement LP.
Paul Dallison played it on Saturday at slim Jenkins Place in Sheffield - I can't get it out of my head, it's superb.
Listen to Soft Cell's 'Say Hello, Wave Goodbye' and you'll see Dave ball has lifted the guitar break from The Entertainer note for note and used it as a figure that goes through the song. Listening for those little steals is fascinating...
I buy plenty of new releases but they are exclusively 60s northern/crossover from the vaults - Mark's doing a great job at Secret Stash - Leroy Taylor, soul junction stuff etc... Not too bothered about newly recorded soundalikes...
I bought it blind on Inferno clear vinyl in the late 70s.... always enjoyed listening to it, good tune.
He wrote hits for the Bay City Rollers and puppet on a string.
