  1. Moe always sings "Nowhere to run" whenever she hears this brilliant oldie.
  2. Mick comes up trumps once again. Well done mate.
  3. Whilst on the subject of Johnny Sayles I remember Hoss having 2 really good unreleased tracks by him on acetate. One night at the Radcliffe allnighter he told me I could have a recording of them if I could sort it out. Not thinking straight, I thought I only live 20 minutes away I'll take it home now transfer them onto CD and then I can bring it straight back to him, so off I went. As I crept into the house at 2 am hoping to set up the equipment without waking up the missus. The dog gave the game away barking like mad. What the hell are you up to she shouts. It's okay I won't be a minute. My technical ability is very limited so the chance of me pulling this off was virtually nil but I thought 2 great unreleased Johnny Sayles tracks is worth a go. I can't remember the titles but I do remember Andy Dyson playing one out one night. Hopefully somebody will remember them?
  4. That Johnny Sayles can certainly belt out a good tune. lol Here's another of Mr Sayles underplayed oldies.
  5. I almost gave it a spin at the last Ashton for the big lad. Phil Wainwright put me onto it many years ago and then sold me his copy. Great record.
  6. Anything with Billy Bob Thornton in it is worth a try.
  7. Kev I think that's what he said.
  8. Wow that looks brilliant.
  9. He was a gifted very persuasive child who probably got his mam to buy it for him.
  10. Mick, he probably bought it as a new release in 1967 for $2.00
  11. It's not too obvious is it mate.
  12. I've always said when a record goes into Baz's or Robbo's collection then that's it, they don't play the game like the rest of us. You'd think they'd let the odd one go, you know like pass it along to your mates for a trade, for instance James Dockery Baz.
  13. For any young collector/Dj's out there, If you can go for the next 40years without having to sell or trade any of your records, then you to, can have a collection like Baz Maleedy's. And he's still at it.
  14. Her previously unreleased songs seem to be popular in movie soundtracks. In the 2016 film "War on everyone" starring Alexander Skarsgard & Michael Pena in one scene Chris Clark Somethings Wrong is playing.
  15. Mick "Buy now pay later plan" does it best for me. Most of my own collection has been purchased in a similar way
  16. She's had so many friends over this side of the pond for years that I'm surprised nobody thought of releasing it here. I'm thinking Kent or Hayley could have done something with it if given the chance.
  17. What a voice, just brilliant, as good as it gets really.
  18. If I'm not mistaken Baz was down to play this before Chris the last time they was both on the same bill, who will play it this time?, there's only one way to find out. FIGHT,FIGHT,FIGHT.
  19. I wonder if Simon will have The New (Bolton) Wanderers with him
  20. Who's Big Dave or the Soul Brothers?
  21. Rod "Always at the sink" I was gonna say you need a dishwasher mate but it sounds like you already are one.
  22. That's just tickled me, what a brilliant trailer. Danny answers the door with excess coke sprinkled all over his bare chest. Hi ~ YES VERY he answers Thanks Mike that trailers just made my day.
  23. A pleasant surprise on the sound track listing for the 2016 film War On Everyone starring Alexander Skarsgard & Michael Pena Soundtracks War on Everyone Something's Wrong Written by William Stevenson (aka Mickey Stevenson) Performed by Chris Clark Published by EMI Music Publishing Limited/Stone Agate Music Courtesy of Motown Record Company Under licence from Universal Music Operations Ltd It's quite a decent buddy action film.
  24. Phil, you have to be on the ball. Even at 1 minute past 9 some of the records are on reserve.
