  1. Reckon it soon will be £50 again once the novelty value has worn off Chalky. Remember the Jamaican copy's of Sam Dees....
  2. Well finally got round to posting a few bit's on Ebay. Never been a seller of records as always miss them when they have gone but stumbled on these 3 last week in a shop & thought I could find a new home for them. All 3 are on UK labels (unusual for me). First is a copy of The Four Tops with their version of Your Song in it's original picture sleeve. Know a copy of this went for big bucks on Manships Auction a few weeks ago & there is a copy on popsike that went for over £200 so a chance of bagging a bargain I guess. 2nd is a UK Demo of Andre Brasseur - The Kid on CBS. Now if you know me you'll know this is not my sort of thing at all but if you're into this sort of stuff you'll love this with it's big red letter A. 3rd up is a timeless Pop/Northern classic from the Newbeats with Bread & Butter on a lovely looking UK London Demo. Again not my thing but I'm sure someone can give it a new home & the play's it deserves. https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/martind20770/m.html?item=171516777793&ssPageName=ADME%3AL%3ALCA%3AGB%3A1123&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2562
  3. I use these Pete. Good price, good spec, very comfortable, extension lead very useful. Also a lot of the other brands are fashion accessories & you pay top dollar for a name. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Denon-D-1100-Quality-Portable-Headphones-Brand-New-Sealed-Genuine-Silver-/111474915366?pt=UK_AudioVisualElectronics_HomeAudioHiFi_Headphones&hash=item19f46c3826 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zAEmi5RzM_E
  4. Now if the Vel-Vets goes for more than the Psychodelic Frankie the lunatics really will have taken over the asylum.
  5. Surgical spirit from the chemist is pretty good & also acetone. Best thing I have ever used though is welding anti-spatter spray but be careful that you don't get any on the vinyl.
  6. Here you go. https://www.crazybeat.co.uk/listen-drizabone-radio-mix-philly-line.html#.VCqT8-9Sfwo.facebook
  7. Pyramid - Soul Bros Inc. There I said it. Everyone say's they love it because all their mates love it but secretly they all hate the bloody thing & dare not admit it for fear of ridicule & you all hate it too. Oohh but it's oh so Soulful though. No it's not it's dirge & I'm sick of hearing cock waving DJ's playing it every time I go out.
  8. Got released in 2002 Jordi. Thought it was a couple of years earlier tbh. Several other things on the same label & here's a pic of one in it's cover. My Marvin is in the same sleeve.
  9. This is the 12" I thought was the first release.
  10. Is the CD cut the same as the boot 12" Mark? Wondering how many different mixes there actually are.
  11. Came out on a rather dubious 4 track 12" about 15 years ago. Got mine off Mike Stevens in Manchester & asked him if they were legit & he didn't say they weren't but didn't say they were either. Were very good looking colourful copy's & were in good quality covers. Sold out very quickly & were followed by a cheap & nasty looking white label thing. Will dig it out later & try to post up a pic. Think these new presses are a slightly different mix as well. Will confirm when it lands at Dixon towers.
  12. Looks like a bargain to me compared to this one!
  13. Would make my life easier as the Events Moderator
  14. The Mark Williams version is even better than that. There, I said it Also considerably rarer for what it's worth! PS, this is now my copy, Thanks Mr Pinches https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yTgpeij3dU0
  15. Anybody got a copy of Frank Dell, Sad Situation / What More Can I Do on a Valise 12" they would be willing to let go for a reasonable price please? PM me with info etc & I'll get back to you asap. TIA, Mart...
  16. Noticed that someone on facebook is selling tickets for an upcoming event & wants paying by this method. Fine if it takes place but what if it gets cancelled?
  17. Glad you posted that Peter as confirms that Pat Brady played Eugene Smiley at Clifton Hall & judging from the rest of the list it was very early too.
  18. Mavis Staples, Bobby 'Blue' Bland, Otis Clay, William Bell, Booker T & Lil P-Nut
  19. Wow. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RFmULZOFaIM&feature=youtu.be
  20. And how many more copy's has Jason got? Must have listed at least 1/2 dozen already this year (know that as I've bid on a couple of them but to no avail).
  21. Old friend of mine had some 10" 78rpm bootlegs that were made for American servicemen who were based here in WW2. Looked pretty good as well.
  22. At last, A DVD I'm actually looking forwards to watching. Any news on a release date Ian?
  23. If you got one you can sell me for £20 I'll have it as can sell it on for treble that several times over.
  24. Not sure. Had the first volume with his cut of OTDTYH on it but didn't even know there was a vol 2. New to my ears.
  25. Ty Karim & George Griffin was a bargain but Manship very rarely gets good prices on things like this.
