Hey up Karen, How have you managed to prize Rob away from the pc or is he on nights. Was only chatting with Adrian earlier on tonight. Was also part of his extended family & he still bloody calls me son You sure about the Strads name? Seem to remember Adrian telling me it was a combination of all thier names, Steve Ray (bit before your time) & Adrian.

Are any of the so called 'terms' valid any more though Barry? Northern, Modern, RnB (old or new), Disco, Funk, Crossover etc. If I was put on the spot & asked for my all time favourite record i'd have to say it was King Tutt - You Got Me Hung Up. You could ask 1/2 a dozen people to put it into 1 of the categories above & get 1/2 a dozen different answers.

Never seen a 7" on erect (get ya puns in ). Did get a 7" release a bit back on Acid Jazz in the UK though. Great record. 7" Acid Jazz version on link below & will post 12" version up tomorrow. -
