  1. When you post up youtube clips just hit the reply button & then click on the 'insert youtube - google' box on the left of the page then just copy & paste the link. I'm listening as well but just not getting involved as done it countless times in the past & you guy's are more than standing your ground anyway One final request - Can ask members to post clips up via the refosoul feature & NOT as downloadable mp3's as stated in the site rules. Thanks.
  2. Both Rob.
  3. Could always save yourself about £90 & buy the album.
  4. Rumor has it Mr & Mrs Whiteley have been spotted at several Modern nights recently Original post also states 'Soul Fans' so I'll hazard a guess at 12,387 give or take 1 or 2 either way
  5. Would have thought that would be viewed as a bonus Rob, might actually increase sales Anyway back on topic & as discussed earlier - Terry Callier
  6. Would you believe me if I said I bloody bought e'm
  7. Hearing the Melvin Davis & Steve Mancha version brings back some great memories of hearing Melvin singing it live with his Son Brian at Rob Wigley's Prestatyn thank you party. Were about 30 of us in a small room in Worksop & me & Gary Walsh were sat down having a beer with Richie Pitts & Troy Keyes. Priceless moment & thats why the Melvin version always does it for me.
  8. While you're all bickering about the rights & wrongs of Majik for the rest of the night I'm off out to DJ & I'm gonna play it to folks who actually do go out so I'll let you know what they think

  17. Are they though? Both records quoted were first played at Wigan by Richard Searling so don't that make them Northern
  18. Took from his new album of classic Soul cover versions due out mid November. OK I suppose but always thought Seal showed so much promise with 'Killer' but has never delivered IMO. Full version below.
  19. Moved to sales.
  20. What about auctions finishing late? Put an egg on to boil the other night at 5-57 & a record on Manships said 3 minutes to go. 20 minutes later & a burnt out saucepan
  21. Best be or I'm sending you back home for e'm Think the 1st time you played the Womack track was at the Manor Barn & i was the only person on't dance floor making a prat of myself! Was also great to hear Creative Source on the show as had forgotten how good it sounded.
  22. Not on my copy there ain't. Exactly the same as the 7" version & the b side is blank. Was wondering how legal all these Soul Cal 12" releases are though. Some great stuff getting released by them.
