    Tell you what Mark, Bet there's more originals knocking around now than the bootiful 2nd issues. Seen loads of real un's but never see the boot & once saw one change hands for £100 so £30 seems a bargain.

    Very nice that Pete. Was torn between the Bitty McLean that you kick off with & Marcia Aitken - I'm Still In Love to play to finish the night off in the Modern room at the recent Brid weekender & I chose Marcia. Sure if I'd played Bitty it would have had the same effect & filled the floor too. Might get you in a Modern room yet Smithy

    Hotel I stopped in last year (Monarch) tried to charge me £12 per person per night more this year & we'd reserved them last year on checkout. There were 6 of us stopping for 4 nights (went Thursday) so that's £288 difference. Told e'm to stick it & booked somewhere else. If the promoters can honour their promise & stick to the price agreed a year ago why can't the hotel.

    News from Mart of the follow on release to last years "Let me do my thang" (which featured Gwen McCrae) Just thought I'd point a few of you towards the new release from Ferry Ultra feat Ann Sexton. Think most of you on here will prefer the Album version that is featured on the youtube video below & if you do it's available on vinyl from juno on the link below. http://www.juno.co.u...?show_digital=1 Great to see a legend like Ann can still throw out a quality tune.

    EMS is a charity event Kev & the last one raised over £4000 for the Macmillan cancer trust & to be honest I don't think it will affect you very much so no need for the nit picking really is there?. My point was not about being convienient for Brid. More about being convienient for the punters that are doing both events.

    Would it not be easier to tell the Bridlington promoter who lives just around the corner face to face Kev rather than throw false accusations like the one above around on an open forum? Reason Bridlington is on the dates it is is that they were the available dates for the next 10 years, Fact. Think you'll find that a lot of folks actually go to stop on the East coast for the week & do both weekenders so it could be said that you & the Brid promoters are actually unwittingly helping each other. Would have done the above myself but for the fact that Whitby clashes with the EMS charity weekender.
