  2. Makes me sick to think of how little I sold it for (£300). Mind youi only paid 12 dollars for it, so it's not so bad after all
  3. Possibly one of the best Northern double siders ever.
  4. 1 group I believe. Had releases on RCA & Impact. Well that's what I've got records by 'em on. Phil

  8. Good find Quite strange that the time listed on this issue is 15 seconds less than that on my white demo (see earlier post). Wonder why? maybe by the time they got round to issuing it they realised the time was wrong or summat? Phil
  9. Yep. Big Mistake. Big mistake also playing a cracked record on those decks at Spoofers Good do that Spoofers. Better than the nighter in many ways Phil
  10. I have Timebox on US Deram. May let it go if the price is right. Please PM me off list. Cheers Phil
  11. I have one available that will be a bit cheaper. It's got a crack right the way through it but it doesn't affect play other than a little click on the run in. Been held together with sellotape on the other side since 1989 when i sat on it. Any good? Mail me off-list. Phil
  12. It was meeee Well Gary's on now. But I played all the good stuff Only joking mate Phil
  13. Amazing how prices go up innit? I swapped a White Demo of this for a pine wardrobe & bedside cabinet 6 years ago. After mucho pressure from the missus The pine wardrobe is still in immaculate condition, how's about a swap Russ? You know it makes sense Phil
  14. I'm probably playing devils advocate here but why should anyone have the "right" to exclusivity on a record that they didn't perform, produce etc etc just because they managed to obtain a copy. I can sort of understand why someone would be a bit peeved if 50 copies of a record they paid big money for turned up the follwing week, but that's just the way it goes sometimes innit?
  15. Hi Mate, We're doing OK cheers. How's you & Bev? I would let this go (reluctantly) as I have loads of different jerhart copies but what kind of price would you offer? BTW Kim's wanting me to take her & the littlun to Disney this year so we may just drop in on you:) Cheers Phil
  16. I don't know anything about the Mica release of this particular record. With regards to the Jerhart one though I have at least 4 different label designs (well some are just colour changes ble, grren etc) and I got all of them from a guy called Bob Lee in Chicago who used to own Jerhart (well according to him he did) as well as Mica, Toi and a couple of other labels. When I met him he was working in a bakery. Got some lovely tunes off him. Cheers Phil
  17. Here's a scan. Cheers Phil
  18. I have an Impression label white demo of this. Slightly longer mix than the Jerhart one (about 4 seconds). Great tune. Cheers Phil
  19. I have both the Fabulous Apollos and Ollie Jackson available at the right price. What is the right price for these two? Cheers Phil
  20. Will you take £50 for the Barbara Lynn & John gary Williams albums? Cheers Phil
  21. Think I still have this on a WD somewhere. I'll dig around Phil
  22. The old West Park membership (well not that old) I've still got the Word doc that I got them printed from. Anyone got one of my old Hole In the Wall Soul Club ones (Bradford Queens Hall, Hinckley Leisure Centre, Thompson Centre Burnley, leeds Astoria etc)? Phil
  23. 43 THE SPINDLES - AND THE BAND PLAYED ON - ABC Other side "To Make You Mine" is absolutely fantastic! Phil
  24. I do a bit of DJ'ing on an internet radio station these days (www.presencefm.com - shameless plug ) and used to do a little in clubs / venues etc, and promoted a couple of nights myself over the years so know a little about the licensing situation You absolutely have to ensure that you have paid MCPS/PRS for the license to play music (and make sure it's the right license too as they have many different schemes) or they can take you to court. Most venues will have the correct license but it's worth checking up - they can confiscate your records! Even hosting sound clips on a website requires a MCPS/PRS license and they are getting their act together on enforcing this too. The license's are not that dear these days. A few years ago I ran an internet based music business and had to pay MCPS/PRS £10k a year! Phil
  25. I love the Chicago stuff. I've got loads of 45's which I bought over the years in the Windy City. Some of which are now apparently worth big money. I'm going to post up some more Chicago mid tempo stuff later (now I've got recording from vinyl to PC set up). Cheers Phil
