  1. I'm searching for quite a few I'll get a list together over the next day or so. Frantically doing deals at the moment on some with a few sourcers Phil
  2. Found it last year when on holiday. Good atmosphere & music. Only drawback is that it's a little on the small side. Phil
  3. As I've started getting rid of some of the 45's, and I don't think I'll ever get back into buying the big tracks that I've let go again, I need to fill my collecting passion in some way. So, as I already have a few, I've decided to collect all the UK Tamla Motown LP's, both stereo and mono versions. So if anyone has any reasonbly priced Tamla LP's to sell. if I don't have it and it's in reasonable nick I'll buy it. Get them PM's coming Phil
  4. It's in M- condition so £35.00 then plus p&p and it's yours. Any good? Phil
  5. Yep. How much does it gop for though? Phil
  6. Original NM - £75.00. PM me. Cheers Phil
  7. my original is Yellow & green Phil
  8. I've got a white demo in Ex condition. How much is a fair price? £75.00?, £100.00?
  9. Lanier & Co - one of the best tracks ever. Irrespective of decade. Phil
  10. I used to do a bit of DJ'ing. I was never particularly good at it, but did usually enjoy it. I always liked to play a mix of class but rare oldies with (to my ears) class lesser known stuff. I don't have a clue about what tunes are "in" nowadays, but my philosophy always used to be to just keep buying more vinyl. I appreciate it's more difficult now with Ebay etc etc. But surely there are, even now, tons and tons of really great records that never get played? My frustration used to always be the "me too" sets played by so many DJ's on the scene - plenty of money but no imagination or nerve. I don't go anywhere anymore so can't comment if it's like that now, but I suspect it is. Anyway I'm now a fan of digital music. I'm in the process of converting all my vinyl (which I never play anymore) to high quality digital files. So if anyone has a want list - send it to me Phil
  11. Have Dramatics on a demo but it's yellow! has a "demonstration sample not for sale" sticker on it. As does my copy of Abstract Reality, so i don't think somebody just stuck it on for a laugh.
  12. They are, Carolinas. And still performing to this day. I wasn't insinuating that Hazel Martin was Paris. Just saying who he was. If Hazel Martin was indeed Paris then he was a long way from home
  13. Hazel Martin was vocalist for the Tempests (Smash)
  14. But Mike your dealings were not at all similar to those claimed by the others ?? What others by the way?? Just one person, Mr Karl, seems to have a problem with me, and I am still awaiting the details of what I am supposed to have done. Once I have them I will sort out anything that needs to be sorted. So now you figure that you're "lucky" to have got your money back? Why? If you felt that you'd been "ripped off" or mistreated in any way, you certainly never indicated that previously.
  15. That's correct. And actually true, and you were refunded in full, yes? And not "eventually", as soon as requested. I may have done some dodgy stuff in the past, although I still don't remember Mr Karl's incident, but have offered to right any wrong that I may have done if he lets me know the details etc of it. But, I have behaved with complete integrity in the last 2 1/2 years at least. If I have wronged you in any way Mike, or if I owe you any money then let me know. Phil
  16. Can't say that it does to be honest. Does sound like the kind of thing I used to say though, but only when provoked. Please send me the full communication trail. This isolated comment, supposedly from me, doesn't enlighten me to the situation at all. And, as I stated previously, forward me the full details and if there's anything to be sorted out. I'll sort it. When did all this occur by the way? Phil
  17. I play Sax (alto) to a rather mediocre standard, and do a bit of singing. I can play a few Northern tunes on the sax to a reasonable (to my ears) standard.
  18. Please feel free to give me the details of my "scam". I have done many things in my former life of which I was ashamed, although I don't recall scamming any swedes amongst that unsavoury list. If I did then I am perfectly willing, upon receipt of the full details, to sort the problem out. I have sold records to many people (including many on here - Pete-S,Bearsoul, Soul Stormers to name but a few) over the years, and I would like to think that mostly folks have been happy with the transaction. I do object to being called an "ugly fish" though. Phil
  19. I have a Tay-Ster demo of this that could go. What's the going rate on it? Cheers Phil
  20. Depends how much?
  21. You can see that we absolutely spared no expense in their production
  22. Flippin' Eck Derek. You've got two of mine there - Griffin & Queens Hall. I don't even have one of either of 'em. Do you want to donate them to me?
  23. This must be Johnny Ryan. I used to hang around with him quite a lot 20 plus years ago. Not seen him for at least a decade though
  24. PM'd you Julian
  25. I have a UK Polydor one which i don't mind selling. What's it go for? Phil
