    Cheers Steve. I don't think I'm back full-time. I enjoyed the break to be honest. But from a purely mercenary perspective it's a good place to find sounds I'm gonna put up a want list for the last few UK Motown albums I still need. Not necessarily rare ones but just need better copies of some numbers. Phil

    I made a sale on Ebay last week - £295.00 Got paid by Paypal, so sent the item in good faith (to Holland). 2 days later Paypal put the payment on hold and today it's been reverswed. Paypal can't tell me why other than "It's a fraudulent transaction" - ie the buyer used a nicked credit card or summat. So now I'm out of pocket both for the item and the insured postage. Any advice anyone? Cheers Phil BTW - I forgive whoever did it

Just imagine - The Masquaders, The Brand new heavies, Silky Hargreaves, Lanier & Co, Al Hudson, The Dynells, Frank Wilson, Robin Thicke, George Pepp, Kirk Franklin, The Dells, Don Gardner, Gerald Levert etc etc all played at the same venue in the same room.

    I apologise for any and all of my posts. I have no paranoia about phantom "Soul Police" or anything else for that matter. I never said don't play it. My view is definitely play it. I just get frustrated as to why anyione would think it was not OK to play it.

    My apologies for introducing the Soul Police into this thread it was entirely inapproriate and i will now remove my post. i just get a little frustrated as to ther narrow-mindedness (only in my perception, of course) of some people. I still firmly believe that to decide not to play any track out because it didn't have a legitmate label release is nuts. Particularly when other tracks are "OK". On a slightly different topic, but related. I also believe that it's equally nuts for it not to be OK to play a track on CD that only got a legitimate release on CD, but it is OK to play a vinyl carver of it. Maybe it's just me

    I'm a 4th type - An MP3 of a tailor made track - I used to be active on the scene, am not any longer, still collect to a certain extent, have no idea about the current big tracks, what stuff is worth, who's in vogue or not (and don't care). Still love the music and always will but I couldn't care less about the rest of it really. Phil
