  1. Sorry for the delay in answering. Only just got back online. The label is very reminiscent of Parkway, yes. The answer to your questions is utterly simple. This is 100% legal in every single way, everything is fully licensed. EVERYONE is getting paid, right down to Isaac Hayes estate (via MCPS). Phil
  2. Here's one .... For the first time ever on a fully legit vinyl 45 - Gary The Master Blaster - Cafe Regio's / Inst - Soul Intention Records SI001 To be released on October 13th 2008. Pre-order online at https://www.soul-intention.co.uk Cheers Phil
  3. And now here's the website up and live - https://www.soul-intention.co.uk Pre-order your copy online now. Currently not available anywhere else. Phil
  4. I agree. Take me for instance. In my record room I'm the best DJ in the land OVO policy, no "fillers", dancefloor always full (of me). The crowd (me & the missus, plus occasional friends) always happy. Cheers Phil
  5. I just looked back. I resigned from the site on November 2nd 2007. I came back in Feb this year. I was off the site for almost 5 months. Some people resign and come back every other week. Probably about time I did so again then. Phil
  6. Thanks to all for their replies. Phil
  7. I have a white (swirls) promo and a red issue (both Bell Sound stamped originals) of Velvet Satins - Nothing Can Compare To You - General American GA-006 Which is the rarer of the two? And what are their comparative values? Thanks Phil
  8. I have a minty spare copy in original sleeve. PM me with an offer. Cheers Phil
  9. I think Soulbid's a great idea but most of the stuff on there has starting prices that are much higher than Ebay. The end prices are not usually much higher than Ebay but it just doesn't feel like you're going to get as much of a bargain. My opinion only. Phil
  10. I know one or two. I used to run many nighters in the late 80's / early 90's never had too much of a problem finding venues. It's all a question of how much you're willing to pay. I know of one now that would fit the bill for only a £2k or so hire fee. Phil
  11. Should start not before 11pm (pref 12) finish no earlier than 8am. Should really be 8 hours IMO Phil
  12. Phild

  13. I have one. What does it go for? I don't like it that much. Phil
  14. Shame. The ones I really wanted are gone. Let me know if you get let down. Phil
  15. Probably. I already have one but it's not in great shape.
  16. What's the Amazon link to buy the set? Phil
  17. No. I NEED vinyl. I have to get back every record that I've ever sold (apart from the rubbish ones). I'm on a mission

  22. If that happens you won't need to phone me as we shall co-exist together in that singularity (together with Mr Trouble et al). So I'll be near enough for you to just tell me. Save on the phone bill
  23. With respect Ian. Utter tosh! The Large Hadron Collider will reveal to us even more about how God made the universe. It will increase our understanding and can only be beneficial. It's one of the most important scientific endeavours in the history of the human race so far. Period! Phil
