I'm going to the US in a couple of weeks and then again end of December. I forward purchased my $ for my November trip as soon as it started looking a bit dodgy, so got $1.80 for the £. I did the same again today for my December trip and could only get $1.64. That's a 10% difference in just a couple of weeks. I'm hoping that it gets better before I go in December, as I've not bought all the currency that I'll need, but I'm hoping it gets better. We've not been used to having to do this for a long time now. On previous trips of late I've just got a few $ to start me off and used credit cards & cash machines for everything. Phil

About 10 years ago at The Griffin Niter, Leeds. I bought a luvverly mint copy of Abstract Reality on Sport. The only one I needed to complete the label. I was too lazy to put it in my DJ box, so I put it in my bag near the front desk. About an hour later I was all "enthusiastic", put my bag on a chair, sat on it and both heard and felt the crack. We're not just testing the water, the discs are in production at the factory right now. Money has been spent and will continue to be spent. They cost more than the general issues, as you still have to have 1000 pairs of labels printed, 95% of which just go straight in the bin. There's only a few of these available for sale. Some people like promo's, so there's a few for sale (I estimate about 20-25). It's instantly rare, higher unit cost of production so sells for a higher price. Nobody has to buy it. Apart from that we need to sell a whole bucket load of the actual issues to even break even, let alone make money. Phil
