Our new release on Soul Intention The excellent Four Tops - Love Enough To Care should be hitting these shores in about a week. This is as you've never heard before - completely revamped and refreshed for the dancefloor on the top side and the original (slightly longer) version on the flip. Manifesto says - "This is timeless rare soul from the masters and bound to become a collectors item" There are only 500 copies being produced so I think they could be right! We have the released scheduled for July 16th. Info and sound sample on the website - https://www.soul-intention.co.uk and in this posting Cheers Phil Four Tops - Love Enough To Care - Edit Sample.mp3

Just been on holiday to Portugal and picked up both volumes 1 and 2 at Loule market on Portuguese Stax in absolutely mint condition - 10 euros the pair! Some absolutely blinding tracks on them. Phil
  8. What kind of price are you offering/willing to pay? Phil

  13. I have licensed some great unissued stuff from him already. That was part of how he "refunded" me. Phil
  14. He has "repaid" me. Even though the records i sent him back via International Recorded apparently never arrived. He insists that the ones he sold me were the originals and the other ones from the 60's were the bootlegs. They are very good repro's (see photo). The only difference is the run out groove is different size I was charged 2 different prices for the two i had. One for a really good copy, one for a copy in not as good shape. The only difference between the two (which were to all intents and purposes brand new) was that one had tea stains on it and looked like it had hoover dust rubbed on it. Phil
  15. I likr the Covers 33 ones as well. Just bought another 500 last week. However, doers anyone know where to get the paper inner sleeves from these days. Covers 33 don't seem to do them. I want green ones if poss. Cheers Phil
  16. Sam's Jams. Great store. Fond memories of great record finds. Best Regards Phil
  17. One of my best finds was in a shop in Ferndale near Detroit. I arrived full of beans at the shop, only to find Gilly, Tats and (I think) Rob Wigley happily paying for their purchases. I was a little disheartened but had a bit of a mooch anyway in the 25 cent bins full of records without sleeves. I found a right load of stuff in that bin including Danny Moore, which was at that time still riduclously rare. Sold it for over a grand - result! Phil
  18. Blenders - Your Love Has Got Me Down Sheer class! Phil

Just listened to the re-edit for approval. It is phenomenal! It will receive it's world debut at Dewsbury Town Hall, may 1st. Will have to be off a carver as we won't have test presses in time. I'm overwhelmed listening to it. Phil

This can and does happen. On our license agreement from the guy who wrote and produced it, and the master it says "Love Enough To Care" Phil
