  2. Thankfully I am lucky enough to have my 3 Dream records of all time ..... Don Gardner - Cheatin Kind - Sedgrick Court Davis - Try To Thnk What You're Doing - East Coast Eric Mercury - Lonely Girl - Sac
  3. Bump!
  4. Still on a mission to upgrade my UK TMG's. Only one needed now for the 500's ..... TMG537 - Tony Martin in at least VG++, preferably EX or better. Obviously with Original Centre. Please PM if available Thanks Phil
  5. Hi paul, My derivation comment was tongue in cheek I've been involved in much less "derivative" releases, and I think your 50% would be exceptionally generous. A track i was involved with some years ago only sampled the hook of a record and Universal wouldn't let us release it unless they got 99% of the publishing Now they've done it you (and the other rights owners) could take 'em for everything. But knowing the kind of bloke you are, you will no doubt be far more accomodating to them than most others would be. Phil
  6. Derivation or downright rip off?
  7. Cheers Paul. I'll be back See you at Bradford niter? Phil
  8. Great little club, here's my spins in no sort of order ..... Bobby James - I Really Love You -Karol Ernest Moseley - Stubborn Heart - La Cindy Don Gardner - Cheating Kind - Sedgrick Poets - Wrapped Around Your Finger - J2 Syl Johnson - Do You Know What Love Is - Special Agent Tiaras - Loves Made A Connection - Seton Lola Sands - To Whom It May Concern - Bison Eddie Foster - I Never Knew - In Court Davis - Try To Think .... - East Coast Brooks Brothers - Looking For A Woman - Tay Joe Matthews - Ain't Nothing You Can Do - Kool Kat George Lemons - Fascinating Girl - Gold Soul Johnny Rodgers - Make A Change - Amon Trends - Thanks For A Little Loving - ABC Holly St James - Thats Not Love - ABC Natural Four - I Thought You Were Mine - ABC Bernard Williams - Needless To Say - Harthon Tamala Lewis - You Won't Say Nothing - Marton Plus a couple of others I can't remember Phil
  9. I have a Shades of Brown record on On Top. Seem to remember title being something like He Ain't Heavy or summat. Is that the other side of the one you're after? Won't bother digging for it if not the one. Cheers Phil
  10. It's on Carla not Calla. Don't believe it was booted. There may have been a few represses at the time though as it was a fairly big seller. Phil
  11. Could have been anybody back then from that description. Apart from Crofty
  12. Could well have been Butch. He used to DJ for us fairly regularly. Phil
  13. New Bradford Flyer, based on old Bradford Flyer
  14. I think it's overpriced. I don't have all that he's got, but I have all Oriole, London, Fontana & TMG singles up to 899 (admittedly some are in only VG condition and a total of 6 of them have NOC), plus all LP's (both stereo & mono where they exist) up to TML12033 and I wouldn't value the whole lot at more than £10k tops. Not that I'd ever sell them Phil
  15. I may let mine go. What's the going rate? phil
  16. Depending when and where I'd book a table. Thinking about offloading a boatload of stuff. Phil
  17. You're right. Should have put Garnet Mimms & Roosevelt in there. Memory's not too good these days. Phil

  20. Dave, I think that would have been 1996? Phil
  21. Good news. I loved the Central back in the day and we ran a couple of Central revival nights back at the old place in the 90's. As you say Steve, it's still the Central at its heart. Just a bit cleaner Phil
