  1. Doesn't discolibris translate to summat like free record???
  2. I think they're both really good. Nice to see old favourites doing new choons.
  3. I have a Jobete acetate of Marvin Gaye - Past Time Lover In pretty bad shape but still playable
  4. I get carried away when I'm playing records. It's a case of "you've got to hear this one ..." Etc and they just pile up Particularly when I'm having a beer or two
  5. Oftentimes half of mine aren't either. I'm terrible for playing records at home and then just putting 'em down and then putting another on top and so on. Most folks who come round my house listening to tunes absolutely despair
  6. Absolutely it is. wash yer lugs out
  7. Their Hem release is IMHO a million times better. Horses of courses I suppose. Broad church and all that
  8. I disagree. Chansonettes, Enjoyables, both sides of The Cairos (particularly Don;'t Fight It) are great as is Cautions (No Other Way, deffo NOT Watch Your Step which is at best mediocre). Eddie Daye is pretty great too. I alternate between loving and hating The Counts which is why I let it go. But some days I really miss it
  9. I have one I might let go for the right price
  10. I had them all with the exeception of Bill Dennis. I let The Counts go this summer though, so now I'm two short Some of them are crap through
  11. 30 minutes is enough for TWO pints!
  12. According to Paul Kyser (who recorded it) the group were all male
  13. I originally had three copies. Got them off Clarence Johnson in Chicago. I think he had something to do with the label. Got 2x Bobby James and a Jimmy Burms off him too
  14. Can't believe this really goes for this much ???? I have a couple of spares of both this and "that's what my lady says" I'll have to dig 'em out. It'll make the missus happy Phil
