Here are the DJ times: - 8pm - 8.30 Marc Silverside 8.30 - 9pm Stuart Eastwood 9pm - 9.30 Steve Yendley 9.30 - 10.30 Stuart Arber 10.30 - 11pm Marc Silverside 11.30 - 12am Steve Yendley 12am till close - Soul Brew DJs double decking..... Bring it on!!

As well as boasting a large car park & brilliant transport links, there is also an excellent hotel less than 10 mins walk down the road - look up The Guide Post Hotel if you don't fancy a long drive home.......

Well what can I say? Our Motor City/Soul Brew joint event last night was a massive success - the Irish Centre was absolutely bouncing! I've found a few bits of nice feedback here & there so thought I'd share it - much better than me rambling on! Here goes:- "Thanks so much to the organisers for inviting me to guest and to my fellow DJs for the fabulous tunes! Great to catch up with lovely friends who came to support - you’re the best! See you again soon xx" ----------------------------------------- "What a top night at the Halifax Irish Centre, great sets from all the DJ's. A special callout for Lucy Brennan who travelled from Dublin to put in a slot with some fine tunes. The place was Bouncing !!!!!!!" ---------------------------------------- "What a fantastic night at the Irish centre- thank you Halifax Soul Club and SoulBrew for an amazing night - and a special thank you to Lucy Brennan you were awesome xx Thanks everyone for coming and making it brilliant night." -------------------------------------------- "Lucy Brennan is having an awesome set. You go girl x" --------------------------------------------- I also heard lots of great compliments from around the room, so it looks as though a good night was had by all. As always thanks from both Motor City and Soul Brew for supporting us & also thanks for dancing - as last night was so successful, I'm guessing there might be more Motor City/Soul Brew events in due course........

The Irish Centre has a good-sized room - holds up to 200 - but you'll need to get there early if you want a seat! There's been a lot of interest & we're expecting a very busy night! I asked the Irish Centre if they could give me a few sample bar prices so here goes:- San Miguel - 4.10 Carlsberg - 3.90 Guinness 4.25 Shorts - single - 3.75, but you can double up for an extra 2.00. Not bad eh? Much better than a lot of venues I've been to!
