Not enrolled in Facebook, I leave that to the female members of the family. Use LinkedIn for professional networking, but probably only visit it once a week, unlike SS which is a daily ritual.
The Complete Motown Singles spans 75 CDs over 14 volumes, and there's plenty of quality along with some utter dross. Ultimately there is so much variety along with the quality outside the Motown stable, that I'd have to go for the rest.
So when is a limited edition no longer limited? 2000 numbered box sets followed by who knows how many unnumbered box sets. Sounds a bit naughty to me, advertising the singles as a limited issue, then pressing a load more, presumably to meet demand.
In Orlando at the moment and were going to see Robin Thicke at Universal Studios until he pulled out. The reason given was he'd lost his voice but a couple of days later it was announced he'd split up with the missus. Good result for me though, as the Commodores were on at Sea World the same day, so the kids had to put up with their old man singing along to some classic seventies soul. Really impressed with their performance. The two last remaining original members have been together for 46 years.
Maybe some promoters could set up record banks at their events and any philanthropic collectors could donate a few discs, then any impoverished soul fans could queue up for a soul pack.
Did bring out some live performances on DVD entitled Saw, Saw II, Saw III and Saw IV which sold really well but the feedback seemed to be that it wasn't quite what people were expecting when they bought them.
Keep doing what you're doing, I won't say keep on keeping cods. Hey and no badges! We don't need no stinking badges!
Sh@t Simsy, I've just had a load of "Northern Soul Makes Me Happy" badges knocked up to sell at Prestatyn.
